Compared to the original Cartonfall, of which I loved, Cartonfall Fortress is...rather bad. The game feels very abrupt, first of all. One minute your getting some resources when out of nowhere a startling sound shatters the silence and you know that the robots will get to the flag before you do. Second, the enemies are quite drab. They lack in variants that aren't just visual, and all they do is slowly roll on over to the flag, completely unaware of your presence one meter away from them. Third, the game is extremely repetitive. It's always the same: Spawn in, place generators, place a few boxes, and punch the enemies to death because ammo is WAAAY too scarce for me to, ya know, use it for your personal weapons. Maybe you enjoy it more than I did, but I felt it was poor use of my money and time.
