A laid back 3-4 hour hidden object game. A weak thumbs up, assuming you get it during one of the frequent 90% off sales. If you want 100% achievements, look them up beforehand. Most importantly, do NOT ever open a treasure map! Otherwise you'll have to replay through the whole game again. Picking up treasure maps is fine, but it is safer to leave them for later so you don't accidentally open them. Beyond that annoying achievement, there are a few other missable achievements that are per level. If you miss any, you can go ahead and finish the game. Then in settings, you'll have to reset all progress. Luckily, you can then unlock individual islands so you'll only have to replay that island. The game's visual style is its strongest aspect. The puzzles are very easy. I would've liked some harder ones, but having them be so easy does make the game more laid back and open to younger ages. The hidden objects are placed fairly. I like that there is a story, but it is barebones. They should have slightly enhanced the main story and added more narrative links across the islands. Issues - There are a few cases where progression can be unclear. -- Needing to click on the aviator. -- On some islands you have to finish finding all the white orbs even when there are other requirements remaining. - I hate the pirate level, Shipwreck Island. You have to click and drag a cannon around tracks on the map and shoot stuff. Sounds cool, but the cannon often doesn't go down the path you want. Additionally, you have to do a lot of backtracking with the cannon that is just a time waster. Drag cannon. Pan map. Drag cannon. Pan map. Drag. Pan. Drag. Pan. Drag. Pan. Ugh. - There are missable achievements that require you to reset progress for the entire game. Although you can at least instantly unlock islands if you only need to replay a specific island. At least one missable achievement requires you to waste a few minutes playing badly (Barrel Blast). - I only noticed the music when it looped to a louder part of the track and distracted me. I think every island uses the same song, which is disappointing. - At least on my Mac, the game hangs for 20+ seconds starting a new level. Resetting progress takes several minutes.
