Really a fun game. There are some good and bad aspects as should be expected with any game in early access. I have had a couple of bugs that broke the game and I had to start a new one or revert to a previous save. I'm sure these will be ironed out over time.
I am a undecided on the timed button press mechanic. It can be awesome when I get the timing right and stack up the damage or annoying that I need to keep my hand on the keyboard all the time and get the smack down from missing a defense press. My suggestion there would be to utilize something with musical rhythm so there is more than a purely visual cue.
Overall, this game is definitely fun for short spurts. Not sure if I could stand doing exactly the same fight sequences again and again for many hours at a time. There is room for growth, however and I have every expectation that the development team will keep expanding this game. I will check often for updates and it is certainly worth giving it some love.

I'm loving this game! The battle system reminds me of games like Mario RPG, Legend of Dragoon, and Grandia! The graphics are nostalgic for me, if you liked any of the older RPG's and JRPG's you will find them endearing. The best part of me is spinning the wheel. I like going to the stores and seeing what's new. I could feel the A.I working, one of my characters was really aggressive and I got 2 conflict runes in a row with lots of weapons spawning and tougher creatures in the Labyrinth. Then on another character I purposely chose options I felt a crafter would choose because I want to dig into crafting more. The wheel has given me all kinds of crafting materials.. maybe it's just me and it's a little early but I really like how the game adapted to my play!
I'm really liking the environment changes each wheel spin.. it feels really different each time.
I like the story I found some of the background lore and thought it was a very interesting story. Although I think it could be conveyed better in the main plot.
I think the UI could use some love.
There are a few bugs I've experienced and some light performance issues on my laptop. However, I've experienced far worse in fully released games AAA games, so I'm not going to complain about a game that just went into early access!
Overall I'm enjoying it. I read this is chapter 1 of 5, which makes me excited to see what they could do with more content in the game! Especially with more content for each wheel spin.
Overall worth definitely worth the price and would love to see more.

Been playing wheel of fate for a couple hours now and so far I like it a lot. The story is immersive and quite unique. I really enjoy the graphics, in particular the character design is not run of the mill. The wheel and dungeon design is awesome. This game does take time to get used to but is really fun once you get the hang of it. It is certainly not easy which I appreciate. What I like most about this game is the random experience generation, as depicted by the spinning of the wheel of fate. With a spin it completely changes the experience, from town to dungeon, monsters and drops. It also changes how difficult the game is to play. The items and weapons are also really cool. Nice effects on the equipment! I know I will be playing this game for many hours more!!

I played it a little bit and planned to finish it, it's the type of game that is not revolutionary but makes the effort of proposing a chill and fun game, buy it if you want to support a indie game

It feels incomplete but has lots of potiential.
It has a day night system that seems to be purely cosmetic, same for the weather system. there is only 4 locations in the game, Town, Forest dungon, sewer dungon and temple dungon that continously changes.
The town buildings get damaged ridiculously often.
the crafting system is finicky and doesn't work.
on rare occassions monsters spawn in walls.
you have to exit and load to spawn quests on ocassion.
The world feels slightly empty like the docks.
It seems to only have 1 chapter of main story.

Cant recommend at this state. It is full of gamebreaking bugs that you encounter as soon as you start looting stuff. The map is a mess too. It has potential but needs a few patches.
I wonder why this is not marked as Early Access, it clearly is.

I really liked this game. There was a glitch maybe where there were no descriptions for items or stats but halfway through the first part they appeared. It took a little bit for me to get used to the combat system but picked it up quickly after the first two or so combats. Other than that the game looked great and handled well. The music and story was pretty good as well. I would for sure recommend this. If you want to watch my play through check out the link below.

This is game is full of bugs, from quests not showing up, to black screen, to item not giving what they say they would (eg: picking up zodiac scrolls but not getting credit for it)... it is fun but unfinished... too bad

I will say that game has a good foundation in terms of engaging mechanics and the developers have been very helpful, but it could use another year of development. The current build only has about 4 hours of main story content, assuming you don't encounter multiple sotlocks. Unfortunately, this might be the most unstable game I ever played in my life, I have never seen so many polish issues - every 2 minutes there is a new UI bug or some kind of visual problem. It's a very ambitious RPG for an indie developer because they have multiple complex systems, including town management, fate management, QTE-based combat system, party system, crafting system, and visible gear with multiple character classes - not to mention all of the generic features that come with a traditional RPG like the skills, story and loot balancing. Now the game technically has some randomization for replay value, however, right now the content is not relevant because you can easily outscale all of the enemies, making the good loot and grind worthless. The UI has all kinds of helpful features like fast travel and tooltips, that being said, it was broken for a big chunk of my playthrough.
The game has a nice character creator, granted the creatures are purely cosmetic, so I would like to see some stat variations in the updates. There are no skill trees, but each class gets a couple of unique abilities that you can level up, in addition to stat distribution per level. In the defense of the game, I don't know why people complain about the combat on the timeline, it's a pretty common feature in this genre, and it's perfectly manageable in this game. You have to hit a button when the attack is inside a green circle, and even if you don't hit them, the difficulty is low enough that you can get away with it. As far the balancing, we have some serious issues with loot and enemy scaling. First of all, some of the AOE skills that hit all enemies seem to be just as powerful as single-target abilities, if not better. Even if you get lucky one time with a mid-range weapon, you going to kill most of the enemies with one attack. I killed the last boss in about 3 hits, and keep in mind that you have multiple members in your party, so not only the game is easy, you don't even need 3 additional characters to play it. To my surprise, the loot system is actually decent, in part because you can obtain good-looking weapons with useful stats in multiple ways (and they show up on the character).
The "Fate" system is supposedly a big feature of this game that adds replay value, essentially changing dungeons and item stats based on choices (as far as I know, I didn't pay that much attention to it). I mean it's a cool idea, I am just not sure how practical it is in a game that does not provide many challenges. Like, there is no point for awesome gear if you have no challenging content for it to be needed. There are a couple of good features when it comes to 'town management, even though they are not fully realized. You can build different stores, assign people to work in them based on their stats, and even buy items. Furthermore, the game has a relatively complete crafting system which includes a big assortment of resources and recipes. Unfortunately, the story so far has nothing to offer, it's pretty dull and I almost wonder if it would be better for them to focus completely on grinding - you not going to please anyone if you do both half-way.
Pros:
+ nice variety of mechanics, granted all of them need more work
+ I like the character creation, but I also want to see some stat variety
+ the loot system and combat is fine, the balancing is another problem
+ overall I like the UI (when it's not being glitchy)
Cons:
(x) extremely glitchy, many softlocks too
(x) pretty big balancing problems, enemies can't keep up
(x) the dungeon and levels are pretty ugly
(x) the story is not engaging
Feedback:
Balancing & lack of challenge - It's too easy to outscale the content if you get a few decent items, literally killing all enemies with 1, maybe 2 attacks (and I am not even considering 3 additional characters). Give a player something to look forward to, place some optional bosses that would kick your butt if you don't grind. Also, pretty much all of the AOE attacks need a nerf in this game, they do very similar damage to single-target moves (dervish comes to mind). Perhaps another option would be to add various dungeon difficulties for more exp, but I think you need some enemies that are more durable as well. On that note, there are very few enemies in this game that do much damage.
Level Design - your RNG dungeons look like crap and not fun to explore (sorry just being honest). I would prefer premade areas like your forest and sewers, although they could use more love as well - at least with unique locations you could design some interesting platforming. You can do both, but I think people will appreciate hand-crafted locations.
Character Creation & Story - just give each faction small stat differences, some personalization goes a long way, and make sure you say what they are on the screen. As for the narrative, you not going to impress anyone with what you have, don't even waste your time with it, if you want to do the whole city sandbox with RPG elements, focus on that and challenge progression. I was enjoying the game more when I was running around the city looking for things, reminded me of Fable a bit.
Other nitpicks - it's not clear to the player what the 'Temple' is. I couldn't figure out how to switch my current party members with the 5th character. Not sure why the game often asks you to confirm an action if you already agreed. Sell? Yes? Confirm? Yes!
Overall Thoughts: 5/10
I can tell the devs are trying to make something good, but I can't overlook so many problems with glitches and game design. Even if they keep it up, we probably looking at more than a year of needed polish and story content. Also, there is not enough content to call it a proper release, this should still be in early access. I can see myself enjoying the game, but right now the finish line looks unrealistic.

I am no good at twitch. I look for turn-based games so that I don't have to twitch.
But you are required to play a twitch mini-game in order to execute any attack or defense.
It requires very precise timing, and not in a "fun rhythm game" kind of way.
If I'd know that I would never have bought it. Maybe this review can help others who don't like that sort of twitch mechanic to avoid wasting money.
