Best vr game ever. The Room never disappoints. No motion sickness whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Loved The Room 1-4 so had to give this one a go. Works very well in VR, makes for a much more atmospheric feel, but the game itself doesn't quite live up to the others. Still a great game and will definitely still buy the next one when it appears, hopefully also in VR.

I love this fun game. The puzzles were great, the atmosphere was great, all around perfect for me. I wish there were more VR games like this one!

'The Room' series of games are pretty good. Puzzles are, for the most part, very logical and others are challenging, but not frustratingly so. Putting these games in VR takes them to the next level; removing the standard point and click in favour of hand gestures via controllers, and when you take your headset off you can't help but think you've actually been in the variety of locations offered up. My only criticisms are that the colour palette was a bit drab (but I guess that adds to the atmosphere of the game) and the length of play was a bit short (4 hours for me, and I'm nowhere near as logical as Spock). Still, it's not enough to mark it down from a top score so long as you wait for the price to be on offer. Will be hoping for more VR titles / conversions of their games from these guys.

short, but really fun vr game. this ties into the story of the others, but felt more standalone. hope to see more come out.

Great game! The Room translates very nicely to VR. I recommend playing with the hints off, the puzzles aren't too hard and feels nice figuring them out by yourself.

As someone who has played 10+ actual Escape Rooms and pretty much bought a VR set to play "Puzzle / Escape Room" style games, The Room VR: A Dark Matter was on the top of my list as it came highly recommended in the puzzle genre. However, after having finished the game (5.5 hours while using quite some hints), I could not shake the feeling that I didn't really enjoy the game. Graphically the game looks fine. The controls are mediocre at best (only teleport and solving puzzles feels only slightly natural in VR). The story is vague and there is so little sound in the game that it almost gets boring. The puzzles are technically not that difficult, but you never feel that you are getting the hang of the game's logic and thus I felt as if I was just running around and trying to figure out what I had missed. Perhaps this is not the case for The Room-veterans, which I am not. All in all I cannot recommend the game as I thought the puzzles were not that much fun, the story is vague and the VR mechanics are mediocre at best.
