I barely write reviews at all, but for this Game i have to do it, hoping it will help grow its popularity. Really fun and inovated idea of a Game. I am just starting to learn the basics, but will already recommend it, hoping to get some friends on board to play with. I really hope the player base will grow and the game will get the attantion it deserves. The road map also looks very promising and i hope the developers will continue making this awesome game even better. With a descent player base and a good ranked system, i can see it become my next competitive pvp Game to grind.

I really want to like this game. Especially since I payed for it. Everything about it looks good. But.. The controls! OMG I have never had so much difficulty navigating around or moving the map. When I try to move, it's clunky and I end up leaping across the field. (I wish I could rotate it.) Add this to the issues I am having with the controls and it's a mess. The attack and defend controls just don't work for me. I have gone through the tutorial several times now. I've even written notes. But I either end up attacking myself or running out of time to attack which leads into Defend and I am having the same difficulty utilizing those controls.. Like I said in the beginning, I love the concept and it looks fun, but I am unable to play it at all in it's current state. I don't think I've given a negative review before and I won't call this one negative. Its more out of frustration. When I heard it was going F2P this month, I was so psyched. I had high hopes of getting my friends to play with me while I stream it. But I still cant get enough of a handle on it to play it. edit: (response to devs) I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. It is not the tutorial or instructions. It's the actual USE of the tools. ANY time I try to take my turn, be it move, attack, or defend, the actual TOOL does not work about 95% of the time. The FIRST click or choice gets no response. And only SOMETIMES will it work if I click twice. Not having these type of issues with ANY OTHER game I play, I have to assume it's the game. The response time (for me) to clicks or choices is poor, clunky at best, and if I try to make the failed move a second time, I often end up attacking myself or not defending or defending to late. When I referenced the 'tutorial' in my original post, it was only to point out that I went through the tutorial several times to make sure I was doing everything correctly. The tutorial is good, it's clear. The game mechanics are the issue. ps. If I am coming off as rude, I apologize. I'm not trying to be rude or sarcastic.

So there's a lot of things that I love about this game so far, as well as a couple of things that can be improved upon. Pros: - I love the character designs and animations - A unique concept of a game. Cons: -Steep difficulty curve, 4 hours in after watching the tutorial videos and several of the puzzles and I still barely feel like I know what I'm doing. I feel that the puzzles made a better tutorial than the videos because they were interactive. - Default controls could be done a little better in my opinion. It seems they want to put a focus on the left hand keys, so I would suggest instead of the arrow keys use WASD for directional movement. Overall, I'm liking the style of the game and looking forward to the player vs AI mode, I don't feel confident going against other players just yet. I will continue to play and learn though.

Half of the game is in French with no English translation. There are no options available for changing screen size, Full screen only and not even windowed available. No single player mode at all, only 2v2 which after sitting in a queue for 10mins or so with only 1/4 people (the 1 being me) joined for the game. . . . Yeah couldn't nope out harder and have requested refund

Been trying to find games for 10+ minute queues a couple of times now. The premise is interesting and im dying to try it, but it seems i can't find a match, and there is no 1v1 for me to just verse my mate who bought the game currently. I really want to try it, but there is a lack of players for now :( Only negative until i find out players play it.

What an incredibly charming and original game. It's got style. It's got depth. Controls work exactly how you expect them to, so it's easy to pick up but I imagine based on the number of characters and castes already available in the game there's an incredibly high ceiling for creativity. HOWEVER. You guys NEED to market this game. I was only able to find Noara by clicking the "More Like This" links of several other pages until finally stumbling across this game. The harsh reality is that as of right now this is a Multiplayer game with fewer than 100 players per month and an average of fewer than 10 concurrent players. It need not be so. If you can catch even 100 players with advertising, you could cause a snowball effect that turns this into the niche hit Noara deserves to be. The store page description ends with "... and try to win the game !" (I think the developers are French or Quebecois) You should probably end that with something like "... and claim victory blah blah blah" or something. The rest of it is good this particular phrasing in English just comes off a little weak. Even with how accessible this game is to a new player, the game doesn't do a good job of pointing a new player to the tutorials right out the gate when they first boot up the game. Instead, they have to intuit that they should click "Play" up top and then just take a wild guess that out of the three options presented (Puzzle, Skirmish, and 2v2) that one of them is going to have a tutorial hidden under them. Turns out it's under "Puzzle." But here's where this might get confusing- how do I, as a new player, know that this is going to teach me how to play the main game? Is Play > Puzzle > Tutorial just a tutorial for Puzzle mode? How different is Puzzle mode from 2v2, which the game touts as being it's primary game mode? Where can I go from the main menu to get a basic rundown of what this game is and how I'm supposed to play it? Turns out there's a really good tutorial series on the official YouTube for this game, so why not have a sidebar on the game's main page that has the first video or three embedded right in the game client so you can view it right there without having to go to the browser? My point is, SOMETHING, anything on the first menu you see booting up the game should say "HOW TO PLAY" in huge font and give the player immediate access to that information. I'm glad to see 1v1's coming on the roadmap because there's just not enough players right now to screw around with long queues especially when there's just no reason whatsoever you couldn't just use all the same systems and assets to make a 1v1 mode that's just balanced differently than 2v2. I don't personally think more singleplayer content is what should be focused on at the moment because if we're being honest it would probably be filler content and would do little to gain and retain players. I would make these changes the absolute highest development priority, as the other issues being worked on seem to be optimization and adding features, which is great, but if you can't onboard players quickly and smoothly, they won't even be around to care about screen resizing issues or queue times or any of the game's problems.
