Firstly.. I don't usually rate game or anything else. The game cost me about the same as a Snickers bar.. That's Good! The game is funny.. That's Good too. this game was made by 2 guys...What? Noooo! That's Impressive! This game is Hilariously silly... that's good, life's too serious. this game reminds me of the games I played as a kid.. That's Really Good. Addictive and challenging but not super deep. great stuff really.

Unlike the title suggests, this game isn't actually about racing. You can not accelerate or decelerate unless you hit an object or are hit by another 'racer'. This game is the equivalent of what used to be called a 'flash game'. Graphics and sound are decent given the scope of the game. It's really more of a twitch gamer puzzle thing than it is about actually racing so you will find a lot of things that do not involve 'real' racing because there's no finish line during any of these races. You could potentially drive on forever if you do not meet the mission criteria (or the timer runs out) Mission involve beating up pizza boys before your opponent does, destroying other bikers before the time runs out or not being in the last position when the timer runs out. There's also no finishing second or third during actual races. I wish there were more actual races and that they would also reward you for 2nd and 3rd because, well, that's what races usually tend to be about. I sort of liked the game up to season 2 where you have to defeat the 'biker buddies' which, once again, is not about racing. You lose about 12 seconds trying to catch up with them at the start and they, of course, get free boosts and you don't if you lose the race. Since you'll be doing a lot of losing, you'll be losing a lot of investments. That brings me to my next point: If you decide to spend money on upgrades you will lose them whether you use them or not if you lose the 'race' and seeing how you can only gain money by finishing races, you could permanently put yourself in a position where you're losing more money than you make and will have to grind needlessly. Given how racing in this game is made exciting only by the premise of unlocking new maps, this kind of grind really shouldn't be there as it just makes the game even more repetitive. (remember, you will only ever be pressing 4 buttons at most. < > a and s. A being attack and S for using a power-up and there is very little variation in scenery) I don't find this particularly good game design. If I start a race over, I should start with the stuff I started out with when I failed. Otherwise I should be presented a random, new game mode or something else to indicate it is a new race or whatever. What makes the game designer think I'll have more succes starting over with even fewer assets? Another thing that greatly annoys me is the radius of your attack swing: There's not a lot of leeway to it and it would have helped if the game had some kind of visual indicator as to when a target is in reach and when it isn't as missing one of your swings could potentially mean having to start a race over. Yes, it really is about the puzzle/twitch gamer element of hitting the right button at the right time and not so much about keeping control of your vehicle. Sometimes you have no other option but to go down in a flurry of strikes as everyone surrounds you and pushes you off the road because there's no way to escape enemies because you can't actually race them. This comes kind of close to the likes of Micro Machines, Rock 'N' Roll Racer, Death Rally and Road Rash but it just falls short of the finish line. Given how it is still early access, I hope it'll work out the kinks.

This is a fun and entertaining game. I enjoy the jokes at the end of the race when you die. Simple controls to use. Graphices are great for this type of game. Will play more for sure! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4R5fdeeLJA

Speed mechanics are simply pissing off. First, as expected, you are slowly overtaking the guy ahead which you manage somehow. Then you are on the way to overtake the next. BUT... suddenly the guy you overtook has taken cocaine and catches up... fast! Like wtf? At this point you HAVE to fend yourself by bonking that racer, AND... you can see that racer is coming at you with vengeance to bonk you which is understandable as that NPC is pissed off, but at the same time you are on the way to overtake the next guy who WILL bonk you if you get too close. You just can't get out of this bloody soup. The breaking point was when I used nitro to get outta this situation and overtook the next guy but those leeches were just not giving up, they were still on my bumper... both of them. Clearly showed that nitro is somewhat bullcrap and proves the speed mechanics are just skewed to the designer's fancy. It's understandable that it's a game but that speed ambiguity killed the game for me. Just a grinding game of irritating proportions. Wasting time which you'd rather doing math or maybe another game. This ain't a casual game which you play for fun which I initially thought. I am not in it for the grind, sorry.

Move left and right, no brakes, buy boosts every time even if you didn't used previous ones — you cannot keep it. Strange model of “speed”. Almost no control of gameplay. Pure trash

Yeah, I really like this well designed compact casual combat racing scroller game. It's a fun ride for in between! Although you can't control acceleration manually (the biggest drop of bitterness ...) the game motivates me with it 's achievements and 'Live Wire Challenges' to play on from time to time. The difficulty isn't to harsh - you can choose it before every race challenge. 'Rude Racers' is a neat, tidy and relaxing game experience - check it out!

Very simple game, similar to some racing games from the 80s, Road Fighter, Zippy Race ....., which entertains a few minutes. 5/10

Action, adventure, hacking and slashing, while racing with a killer intent, to beat your opponents to a pulp with a wide variety of weapons, some with specials in them as pushing your enemies' vehicle into side or short-circuit them. Use ingeniously placed road obstacles, crash and burn with your nitro O2 booster, spill some of your oil, make those enemies at your tail lose control, use your own vehicle to push them off road, and rush into victory! But more importantly, crush your enemies. :) Buy better buggies, allowing you to endure punishment you will surely be getting from AI, smash those tow trucks that stole your ride, and get away with it. Compete in LiveWire events for steam gift vouchers, and run over commentators on side of tracks. This is a 2D game, reminiscent of those golden oldies, as sega's RnR racing. The main intent is not to actually win 1st place in races, but rather to destroy opponents. Use tactics, get to know difference between different car types, and more importantly, ENJOY.

This is NOT a racing game! It's more of a vertical shooter without bullets and only melee weapons. But not enough action to make it fun. You move left/right and basically that's it. Very boring.

On sale for 1.00. Not worth that. Not worth .01 I shall humbly submit. You have a bat. You whack other cars, but that is sadly about it. I got this for my nephew and he set the controller down and said "why do you make me play this?" Would love a refund. Don't wasn't your pennies on this, you will be doing yourself a huge favor.
