No tutorial, no guide on how to do stuff... Buggy, doing the same thing may fail or may pass the level Basically you have 5 seconds for guessing what the dev meant you to do with zero information. Oh failed to guess correctly, or the game just decided it wasn't done? no problem start again! It's just bad!

boring.... 1/5 The trailer looks great, but the gameplay is absolute trash... no settings ,no teleport or any locomotion, no checkpoints, if you lose all 3 lives you are back at the beginning... Okay, Panic! VR review - VoodooDE VR https://youtu.be/JUYlkqPO07k Definitely not worth paying for.

Great index support but no replay value after 22 minutes. I know vr has short games but I got more time out of free to play vr games.

This needs an explanation or tutorial of what we are supposed to do. There are certain things I have no idea what it means. "Flip off" "Drop the beef" etc. Perhaps a cultural difficulty.

Game plays fine, the only problem is I suck at it. ;) shots. I figured out the first level and got on the leaderboard, I'm struggling with the second but each time I try I get closer to the finish. These mini games require answers and the answers aren't handed to you, you hand the answers to the game. See what I did there? You know cos of how the game works eh? Handed... heh Index controllers.. Get it?

Edit: This Review was originally posted 2019, now in 2024 the game had a couple updates but radio silence ever since. Don't bother tbh, find another and better game. This game is fun, regardless of what people say it is a fun game. This game has its positives despite the negative reviews. + This game is fun, it get's faster and faster as you progress through the minigames + It has an element of difficulty because of this fact^ + Despite being made for index controllers, still supports Vive controllers which a lot of players will still be using. + This is a great game to play with friends, whether it be seeing who get's the best score or just for fun. Now the negatives, and unfortunately... there's a few. - This game seems to require an unreal amount of precision, for example the balloon minigame (Which seems to show a series of problems) will often seem to require my hand to be perfectly on the balloon. - As someone who plays standing only and doesn't have enough space for room scale a few problems can be presented when things become out of range, this is another problem with the balloon minigame specifically. - It's not made perfectly clear from the beginning how to play, my first time playing with the hand gun for example left me confused. I don't think this is in itself a huge problem as it doesn't take long to understand how to play, but it's still there. - This one is a BIG problem, this problem occurs so often that I can't complete the third tape. There has been so many times where I have cleared the objective, but it still fails me and costs me a life. This is probably one of the bugs that needs patching asap. - Overall there aren't many minigames either, but I think it makes up for that with the increased pace as you complete the minigames. Despite the amount of problems this games has I can still jump on VR and enjoy it, in my opinion it's fun and is quite difficult because of the pace. I won't deny that the bugs can make this game quite harder and can make it a pain to play, but again still a good game. I'd trust that the devs will patch and fix the game as time goes on, but it is new. If you can play a new game despite bugs then I'd still recommend, otherwise I'd say wait until more fixes are introduced and then try it. Personally I think this is a good game and I look forward to how it will turn out. ***TLDR*** Fun game, quite buggy, worth trying or you can wait until more fixes

I love the concept of this game. Its like Wario Ware VR. The only problem is these microgames are not always understandable, fair, or well made. Some microgames didn't make any sense to me, leaving me feeling stupid and frustrated. Other microgames were just too difficult to even replicate often, such as throwing one tiny knife at a guy with an apple on his head. It is just too inconsistent to be fun, and it becomes more frustrating than anything else.

+Fun +Wario Ware Index +Great "Tech" demo for the Knuckles +Great party game -Not great -Buggy -Feels a little rushed 3/5 If you have the Knuckles controllers, this is definitely something that you should get. It's like Wario Ware for the Valve Index/Knuckles controllers. If you don't have the Knuckles controllers, I advise not gettin this. But overall it's a great, fun experience, especially for a local-party game. I was looking forward to it. The trailer looks great, but the game is so bug-ridden, it's almost unplayable. In the main menu, the cassette tape immediately fell through the player, i had to fish it out of the cassette player model by grabbing behind it and jiggling it out. I wasn't able to do High-Five with my left hand, it just goes straight through the targets. Balloon popping is sometimes impossible, as the balloons sometimes collide and one or more floats off into the distance. Oh, also there's no background music or anything beyond some sound effects, which makes playing - when it does work correctly - rather bland. There are other minor things that just lower the (re)playability so much. All in all, it feels like a very rushed release, and definitely requires more polishing to be remotely recommendable.

sadly, this is very bad right now! was hoping for a Warioware like game in VR, and to a degree that's what it is. there's a little bit of fun to be had. but there are reasons Warioware works, and reasons why this doesn't work. Warioware works because: 1. themed levels with similar actions across minigames means you know what you're going to be doing next, and therefore levels can be much faster paced because you don't need to assess what exactly you're going to be doing in advance. warioware just throws you in, and you very quickly just have to assess how the action for this theme needs to be used. once you get to the point where you're mixing up actions you already have some memory of what each minigame requires, then the challenge levels really kick off 2. a good amount leniency when it comes to precision. everything feels natural because you can just, do it without trying too hard 3. high amount of minigames means by the end of the game, the massive variety of minigames overshadows the fact that you've already played them This game has none of that. For the same reasons, Okay, Panic! does not work because: 1. Pacing is slow and uninteresting. Giving the player 4-5 seconds to read the name of the game on top of the fact that the minigames themselves are fairly long compared to Warioware means I rarely if ever felt fairly pressured by the speed of the game. 2. there is too high a requirement for precision in OP. there are some games that I resigned ever completing. The throwing knife apple minigame is incredibly hard to pull off even with the Index controllers, and only having one chance, while in the spirit of Warioware, does not tie into the precision required. Some minigames punish you for ridiculously small mistakes, like the balloon minigame. If you, while grabbing balloons at the high speed required by the higher difficulty version of the minigame, knock another balloon even slightly and it leaves your playspace, you lose. Despite the balloon game being about speed rather than precision, it still manages to be too precise. I would knock balloons away I couldn't even see. Some controls require precision and don't feel natural, like the force push game. Despite understanding where the projectile would come from, I still couldn't consistently hit the targets sometimes. Precision with gestures is also too strict. There's a minigame where you have to drink tea while holding your pinky out. The shape of my hands makes my pinky tracking a little finicky, and when I got to the difficulty where you had to drink 4 cups of tea with your pinky out, the level failed despite me doing exactly what I was supposed to because my pinky wasn't tracked as fully extended. This is both a problem with the game, and the controllers, so think of that what you will. 3. there's barely any minigames. I had played them all in 45 minutes. This isn't even an early access title. and my final, smallest gripe, is the Ensure Death minigame. while this is the absolute least significant problem with the game, this was the final straw for me. Ensure Death asks you to throw knives at a man spinning on a wheel and ensure his death. The level 1 version gives you one knife. You hit him? You're good! he's dead. Doesn't matter where. The level 2 version gives you 3 knives. When the knife hits the target, that area you hit explodes. The natural assumption would be, given that the title is "Ensure Death", that if you hit 2 or 3 knives but only blew up his feet, you would lose the minigame. He could survive that. But no, it just counts if you hit all three knives. Here I am, playing Okay, Panic! Ensure Death. Okay. I'll ensure this man's death. I throw the knife. It hits him in the head, directly. His entire fucking torso explodes. He's gone. he's a pair of legs. I miss the second and third shots, as clearly, he was dead. No. He lived. He fucking lived. The motherfucker is going to live the rest of his life as a pair of legs. He's fine. After this, I immediately ripped off my headset and refunded the game. Despite the tone of the review, I do think this game has potential. Some of the minigames are fun and creative. I think it was rushed and not playtested enough. While I refunded it, I will definitely look into trying it again in the future if these problems are fixed and a significant amount of games are added.
