Two main problems of this game are worthless choices and teenage-esque (even childish) type of storytelling. Ancient Rome theme sounded very interesting, but narration made it awful. Ofc, if you like this style you will like and enjoy this game; otherwise - CoG forum has much better IFs than this one.

This game had so much potential in the start that just went nowhere in the end, no matter what you do there is only one ending. This is a choose-your-own-adventure game, where you can have multiple endings based on your choices. This is in fact, a lie. 1/10

Took me almost 6 hours to finish and I got one of the quicker good endings, I would say the most common one, I enjoyed this game it did have some things that got to me like the lack of direction to other paths and also sometime I would find myself skimming to get past certain points but overall it was a great expirience and
Worthless choices
As it says many pointless choices in this where you will lose no matter what you do and no
replay value because of that story is not bad but as i said the choices many of them just seem so damn scripted where you are just meant to loose so it is just pointless.

Probably the most abrupt and unsatisfiying ending I've seen in this type of games. In fact, chapter 6 feels rushed overall, which is a shame, because the beginning of this story wasn't that bad.
Also contains quite a few grammatical errors and just weird phrases that don't make much sense, but nothing too severe.
Would definitely recommend "Champion of Gods" over this for a similar setting (although different theme of course).

Oh boy, normally I really enjoy these kinds of games and I was really hyped for a gladiator themed one. But I feel so unsatisfied with this one. The ending, the story itself... They don't really seem to matter all that much in my opinion. The story itself feels like it has gaps in it a few times. The ending feels forced and rushed, not a good thing.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this one to be honest, apologies for that.

Ignoring stats, killing characters and making people restart every time they don't follow a carefully laid path is how NOT to write a CHOICE game Ladies & Gentlemen. I can't get with these authors who have never held a blade higher than a butter knife but feel they can dictate what odds would lead to your definitive (sorry 'realistic') death in a fight or feel that because a guy with some muscle shows up with a blade he must be some sword savant with mad technique. *yawn* If the art of war isn't your forte, don't embarrass yourself by trying to school others on it.

A CHYOA where the narrator makes all the choices isn't really a "decision-based" game.Pretty dissapointing even more when you take into account the setting of the game.Overall 0/10 wouldn't recommend.
