I got this game to use the character creator and see the creations in VR. This first part is without DLC's in mind and I do not recommend it at all. There are just a handful of options in the base game in terms of character creation, the VR controls are a nightmare and the game play is very slow. The 3 base maids are unique but very simple and the extra maids you get during gameplay feel randomised like someone hit the random button on the character creator, very unimaginative and limited in terms of variety. The base game doesn't have anywhere near enough included to warrant the price.
Next the DLC's
The R18 patch is reasonably priced (On sale) but stupid it's not included in the base game considering the base is already expensive but has to be purchased separately. The R18 patch is where the fair pricing stops. They took a leaf out of the Sims book. All DLC's has such limited features and is priced far to expensive for what's in them. If your playing for the story and barely existent gameplay then they may have some value but i can't justify purchasing any of them. The high poly models and new Kiss editor should of come with the game as an update. Most of the clothing looks bland enough and the base game so empty that they should of also been provided as free updates for the game. The extra maid personalities are the only DLC i would consider purchasable (if the other DLC's was built in) which may have some value to players who enjoy the communication and gameplay with the maids.
Conclusion
£562 for all content on sale. EA style DLC's but with less value and quality than Sims, A base game that's barely a tech demo, confusing and misleading DLC names, Bad controls. Even giving it credit for the waifu maid trope it's a terrible purchase and one I don't recommend. The only redeeming quality is COM has character creation and some resemblance of story telling which is unique for VR games but doesn't warrant the price.
