A pretty short but enjoyable game, the levels are bite sized and easy to go through all of them at once. The mechanics are intersting, and the game keeps introducing new ones to keep the adventure fresh. The only issue regarding the level design is that there are a few trial and error moments. The graphics are pretty good, and the music is decent. I think it could've benefitted from a level editor or something to give it a little more value and replayability. But as is, it's a solid platformer, and it's more than worth picking up on sale.

The only downsides to this game is that it's a bit too easy and the levels are too short, but other then that, it's a great little game, especially if you grab it during a sale.

No where as good as other games from this dev. I bought the 'Platform Bundle"... devious dungeons YES, Random Heros yes (but controls aren't told to you LIKE THIS GAME) The first cutscene needs you to press "z" but there was no prompt and the mechanics (particularly jumping) are quite unpleasant.

I was a bit worried about this one before buying it but, tbh, it's just the usual easy puzzle platformer with many levels and typical obstacles/graphics. It took me about an hour to complete it. Despite the complaints i've read here, It worked 100% on my win10 desktop. Some minor glitches, fullscreen mode must be enabled manually (ALT+ENTER) and there's no rebinding for the keys. Also, achievements worked fine but you have to exit and re-start the game to see the last batch of them enabled. All in all, decent game but nothing special. [6/10]

Fun little game, but really short. It took me around 30 minutes to get all achievements (you don't even have to finish the game), and 15 more to beat it.

It's a pretty simple but fun platformer. I'd recommend it if you want a casual game, just to lay back and relax. It' art is also very nice and eye pleasing. Overall: 6/10

The first few levels made me wary of what was to come. I learned to dislike games that try to mix puzzles with difficult platforming, and this game starts by showing you things kill you instantly. But I ended up playing the whole game in one sitting without a single rage quit! It was very enjoyable. Everything is easy, the platforming, the puzzles. Maybe 'casual' is a more suited word. So, yeah, casual puzzle platforming nicely made on all sides. Looks great, sounds great, very well designed from mechanics to levels. Thumbs up from zumzum!

I highly recommend this game. Very fun puzzle platform with the perfect difficulty level. Perfect for a couple of hours of fun.

I wanted to love this game, really, I did. I watched Skid Row Trash's gameplay video and the game looked great, so I was sure I would love it. Then I bought it and played the first 16 levels. At the time of writing this review, Steam shows that the game has 100% rating from 12 user reviews. I can't help but think that all of those other reviewers gave the game a thumbs-up because A) the game looks and sounds great, or B) they are using a controller instead of the keyboard. Even then, I can't understand why there isn't a single negative review at the moment. PRO: + The game looks great + The game sounds great NEUTRAL: +/- The game is short -- 1 to 1.5 hours (according to other reviewers) +/- Some people might consider $5 expensive for a game which lasts only 1-1.5 hours CON: - The game opens in windowed mode - There is no option to change to full-screen mode (ALT-ENTER works, but an in-game method would be nice) - The only options are 1) music on/off, and 2) SFX on/off - The mouse doesn't work (not even in the menu) - There is no method provided to exit the game (you have to press ALT-F4 to exit) - There is no place to show the controls other than a message at the bottom of the screen in the first two levels - There is no key rebinding - The keyboard controls are literally painful ("Z" to shoot, "X" to jump, and left/right arrow keys to move) - If you press two keys at the same time (such as holding an arrow key and then press "X" to jump), then there is a delay in acknowledging the second key (sometimes, it doesn't acknowledge it at all), almost surely leading to immediate death - The developer has not appeared in any of the discussion forums In the end, I cannot recommend this game because of the cons. Specifically, for me (and probably others who would play via the keyboard), the choice of control keys results in physical wrist pain, which is reason enough to mark this as "Not Recommended". The fact that the developer didn't even bother to provide a method to exit the game is another good reason to not recommend it. The fact that the developer hasn't responded in any of the discussion forums is the final nail in the coffin. It's really too bad, because this game looked great.
First impressions so far
Don't be fooled by this games appearance. This is not an easy game at all.. That being said, if you have good dexterity and reactions then I feel this is a fantastic game to hone your platforming skills. Pros: 1. A platformer that will make you use your mind. 2. Character control is great, so many other games fail at this. 3. Interesting and unique game mechanics. 4. Auto-save function means you can quit and pickup and play anytime. Cons: Not sure I have any.. If something comes to mind I will put it here. This is a game that is simple in design, but hard to master. The difficulty is solely on the player though, when you fail you don't feel cheated as you know where you went wrong. It's not a puzzle platformer, but you get the same satisfaction when you complete levels as if it was. This game will train your patience, timing, quick decision making, and awareness. It is not a bullet hell, extreme precision platformer, or souls-like. It doesn't spam or overwhelm you, it is just a skill based game.
