Wampee games are a special kind of genius.
Is 'Islands' the best of the Wampee collection? Is it the best Pumpkin Dog game? I don't like to compare; like any true Wampee fan, I enjoy all the titles for their own unique and glorious insanity.
Needless to say, every video game library should have a Wampee collection.

I can't say this game is good, but it is really fun (especially when challenging yourself for a fast time). Mechanically it's one of the jankier games I've ever played, but remains playable and consistent. The open levels actually lend themselves to a lot of strategy as far as how to get through them.
This is a game where even after finishing it you won't fully understand it. It is entirely unique and as long as you know what you're getting into I would definitely recommend it. It's very entertaining and there's honestly nothing like it.

This is a pretty janky game, that said it's the fun kind of janky. There's a large variety in the worlds, enemies and stage elements.
When it says "Partial Controller Support" it means it, I played this with some friends with a variety of controllers and some of them were just missing functions like hover. I recommend using either keyboard or joy2key/ds4windows/some key remapping tool to map the keys to your controller.
