I see Rogueside, I click "Add to cart". It's a Pavlovian thing.
As usual they deliver. While this one follows the "more of the same" line, "more of the same" was exactly what the kids and me needed from this.
Three eras.
Funny clues.
SPACE CHICKEN.
Buy it already.

The space-themed "DLC" is a nice addition to the game. Building new maps in this setting will surely be appreciated.

HTT2: Discovery was enjoyable but felt significantly shorter than HTT2: Myths & Magic.
HTT2: Discovery features three eras with an average of 115 hidden objects to find while Myth & Magic features four eras averaging 85 hidden objects to find. Please note that "eras" are collections of levels and not just one level.
Like its predecessor Discovery also features a in-game level creator and downloader where you can create, share and play custom levels created by other players.
Despite feeling shorter and rushed if you enjoyed the other Hidden Through Time games then I'm sure you'll find enjoyment in this one as well.

HTT 2: Discovery is the worst version of this game; and I have been playing for years and loved every version prior. I've had multiple issues where objects don't show up as set as objectives when you test play the situation you've created, so you have to go back in and re-select them all over again. My creations won't upload at all, it says "loading" and never uploads. The only way I have been successful to get them to upload is to copy and paste the entire scene into a blank canvas and then upload; and that has only worked once or twice because anything that has multiple homes and items in it loses it's "layer" and to have to go in and set things to the background or foreground would take hours. At the advise of the developers I've uninstalled both Steam and HTT completely and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. It's to the point where I don't even play it because there is no point. It's been a waste of money. Lastly, if the game was functional for me, I have a few suggestions. There need to be more items to choose from as far as decorations and food. For example, you have items that you can customize the color so why do we have duplicates? Wine bottles, caskets, signs, books, pieces of paper (notes) I feel like you could have more options by removing duplicates. Also, if you have the ability to modify a character, why not just have one or two males, female, and children and let us choose the options of what we want them to look like.

As someone who owns Hidden Through Time and Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, I was really excited to play this one! I loved the previous versions a lot, but this one felt rushed and sloppy by comparison.
Object placements: Sloppy.
Too many items are placed carelessly, with objects just floating mid-air when they're supposed to be "held" in a character's hand. The graphics glitch so much that it's actually laughable. Some animations break in between things that should not be passable.
Clicking objects: Tricky.
The whole point of the game, to click the objects that you find, is just tragic. Some items take at least 5-6 clicks to register; in the process of clicking one object, you accidentally "close" the house instead, even though the cursor is directly on top of said object. Really, really frustrating.
Also, some grammar errors in the text. The most recent I recall: "loose" instead of "lose."
I regret buying it (even on sale), and ultimately wish I could refund it.

"Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery" is easily one of the best hidden object games I’ve played. The hand-drawn visuals and charming animations make it such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The new interactive features and larger maps take the exploration to another level, making every discovery feel super rewarding. The map editor is a game-changer—there’s so much replayability, and it’s awesome to see what the community comes up with. If you’re into hidden object games, this one is a no-brainer. Highly recommend!

Buy Myths and Magic Instead. Honestly, I'm not sure why Hidden Through Time 2 is not one game with DLC. They released the two as separate games which prevents you from combining assets when building your own levels.
This one felt much more rushed and has less play time than Myths and Magic. I really suspect this was rushed.
