WEJAM is best enjoyed with other people, be it playing with friends or strangers online. It is very easy to pick up and have some fun with, even if you're not necessarily the most tech or music savvy person. At the current price I can definitely recommend it to anyone that has an interested in electronic music or music making in general.

Nobody is online at 2021 so you will be playing alone. And of course you can't do much with moving the mouse and playing one or two notes at a time. There are a few sounds and beats, and not much in the game. This could be a good application and I really appreciate the idea (I couldn't find anything like this online) but it lacks so much. One great thing would be the ability to change the scale to minor or something. As you see almost any of the reviewers haven't played longer than a hour so I doubt it's worth 3€ at the time of this review. Im still not refunding it in case it gets better.

Oof. Well. Bought this because it was cheap, and the thought of collaborating on putting together some little tunes might be fun. But as far as I can tell this is not the way to do it. All you can do is click on the screen to cause a note to repeat in a pattern. You click higher on the screen, it plays a higher note, lower on the screen and it plays a lower note. To the right, it repeats in a faster pattern, to the left it repeats in a slower pattern. It's possible to do rudimentary chords with the right mouse button. That's pretty much it. You're just making some beepy sounds on top of a backing track. You cannot edit the backing track. You cannot change key. You can switch between a small number of backing tracks, but... there's not a tone there. And there are a few lead synth sounds, but again not much. There's no in-built way to record your music. There's not even a way to quit the software, you have to use alt-tab. And when I tried to find other people to 'jam' with, it didn't find anybody. I guess I should have done a little more research before I bought this thing. Not going to bother with a refund or anything, it was only a buck fifty.. maybe my money will go towards adding a couple features.
