a good game for a 4-6 hour of gameplay, as for the "horror" aspect it's not bad but i only got startled for 2-3 times as it's the only time they have a jumpscare
story wise it's pretty solid, but i wish they don't stretch out the final chapter so long i was bored and not even scared anymore
overall i give it 7/10 (good boy bullet)

Good horror and it brings spot on the setting and all paranoia involved with the myth of the witch. The end is particularly really crazy. A little shorter than expected but it's a well made game and definitely achieves its proposal.

This game is fantastic. I played this without looking at the reviews after beating sh2r, anticipating jump scares and horror but was pleasantly surprised. The illustrations of mental health is more horror than cheap jump scares you'll find in other horror games. Be warned, there is scenes of animal harm, specifically the dog, bullet and the game play during the section can be deeply disturbing if you make it that far into the game. Eventually I'll get to 100%ing this title, but im quite satisfied with the ending i revived for now.

I enjoyed this game, the psychological horror games are the ones that always keep you on edge, the tension build up to the jumpscares are always on point.
Everything about the game was great, storyline, graphics (especially in 4k)
10/10

This game made me feel like I was retarded. Good graphics and difficult puzzles.

Its a creepy game with some cool elements and interesting gameplay mechanics that feels a bit "rough" on the edges sometimes. The first half is a basically a stroll trough the woods, I had several moments where I was completely lost which got annoying at some point. Sometimes my dog got stuck or took forever to do something I told him. Graphically it looks very good on 4K but you also need a very good graphic card, in my opinion its not very good optimized for pc. The game is pretty short, which I find isn't a problem as long its good. My main problem is that besides the famous blair witch totems and some dialoge snippets you would never know that this game is settled in the Blair Witch universe. I would have loved more references to the movies and even to the old Blair Witch games. In the end a solid and creepy game.

The Blair Witch tells the story of the original movie and lore while also adding its own flair. You learn about the main character and his life and relations while traversing the Black Hills forest in Burkittsville, Maryland, where it all began.
You have your trusty companion dog that helps you along the way. Not only can you give him multiple commands and interactions, but he kinda helps take away some of the horrific tension at times. And you can customize the dogs look to your liking with the options they've provided.
The music and atmospheric tones set the mood for each setting. I had to turn the music off at the end because the game just got so intense.
Some say you can complete it within 6 hours if you skip all the collectibles and backstory. It took me 12 hours and I still managed to miss some things. There are 3 different endings which can be revealed based on the choices you make throughout the game. This allows a bit more replay-ability as you will find yourself highly involved with the character.
I've only completed one ending and I can't wait to see the others. Great game and I got it on sale.

Fantastic game with so many alternative endings, but please do not play it at 2 a.m. with noise-cancelling headphones, especially towards the end. You will thank me later for this.

You expect a lot of scares from the game cover (it's not)
The game starts off very normally and you are supposed to be looking for a boy named Peter
But very soon everything goes back to the memories of the game character and I don't think it's good at all
The game's graphics are good but the details are bad
After 1.2 hours the game gets boring because you don't see anything interesting or entertaining
My score is 4/10
