You play as a dragon. That's about all there is to it right now. Despite all the controversy it had, it's not a bad game, just a bit bare bones. More entertaining than The Isle, and the community is generally very kind and helpful. I look forward to the future of this game. And about things being behind a paywall, you do not need the DLC to be able to play as DLC dragons. Other players can nest you as DLC dragons. You are not obligated to buy them and you can still play as them.

the only bad thing is that switching from going to left to right and right to left is slow and the way the camera moves when turning in flight gives me motion sickness. would appreciate if the turning during flight was not slow and have a stationary camera while turning

File under a very hard "maybe." Very rough on-ramp period with no tutorial and not much to interact with in terms of PvE. The majority of the focus seems to be on the social and PvP aspects - which I admittedly haven't interacted with much, but judging by the other reviews it seems like you can expect the general miscreant behavior of open-world sandbox PvP. Consider it if you're really into wildlife survival games and/or dragons, though it may be worth waiting for a sale. Otherwise, it may be worth sitting this one out.

The game has nothing really to it... you either sit and stat farm, do shit pvp or roleplay .. nothing else to do in the game. don't bother buying this shit.. wait for Wings of Dawn

As someone who has played this "game" for a while I would not recommend buying this product. It's been in development for 5-6 years with lack-luster spaced out "updates" that have been over-hyped and overdue. This product raised over 500k alone off Kickstarter (currently making even more off patreon + other means) and yet the dev refuses to hire another coder to make the process smoother. • Incredibly unoptimized map, I swear I can run The Isle better than I can run this game. • Having to pay 200 bucks for a golden skin, Emotes, DLC Dragons and Plushies. • Glitches that have been in the game since the start of beta - the infamous fight-glitch that have been in the game for the past 6 YEARS! • The promised mega-map we still have yet to see. There is so much to mention that was promised but is being postponed further and further into the future. • Giving away exclusive Kickstarter skins/keys that were supposed to stay exclusive. Misleading backers of the game. • Favoring currently paying patreons over loyal kickstarter backers. • Clear ripoffs of iconic works of popular media. Shadow Scale - Nightfury Singe Crest - Ikran/Banshee Blitz - Skrill Hybrid - Cloudjumper Etc. It's incredibly sad to see how they are not original with their own creations. • Not to the mention the unprofessional nature of the lead developer. He goes out of his way to bash other games, whines about people disliking him when they clearly have a reason to dislike him, whines when people give valid points of criticism, complains when people write bad reviews, witch-hunts people who disagree with him and outright game ban YouTubers who gave valid criticism. One meltdown of his was him straight up crying about another game "copying" his design of a playable and trying to rally people to his defense when it was clearly not a copy, then became incredibly upset when people disagreed with him. - Feel free to look on Reddit/YouTube for screenshots and proof of his unreasonable behavior. I will never recommend buying this "game". It is not worth it in it's current state and I have a hard time believing it will be worth it in the future.

Enjoyed playing Dragons Legacy so I decided to try this game as I heard it was better than DL. However, a few notes. The game is really un-optimized at the moment, even playing on lower settings the game remained laggy and didn't run smoothly. The game is really good looking however that is kinda defeated by the lag. I unfortunately refunded the game after about 60 minutes of playing, maybe in the future with some optimization and improvements ill give it a try again, for now ill be headed back to Dragons Legacy. UPDATE: Ive gotten the game again because friends wanted to play it and upon further fiddling i managed to make the game SOMEWHAT playable. If i run the game on Borderless Window it runs slightly better and becomes playable.

very good game but needs a starting spot or more food around and a list of controls

This is a social game, there are lots of great people who are always willing to help you out with nesting, guiding, teaching and growing on an official PVE Server. The graphics have some things left to be desired and optimization is not the best but the potential is amazing. I don't play this for the graphics, or the "thrill", I play it to be a socialite and meet new people. I've made new friends and have been having a great time meeting really awesome people. Some clans leave something to be desired but if you find the right one (like I did) you're welcomed like family that's always belonged. 10/10 would recommend because who doesn't want to be a dragon and fly, use flames or other elements and make babies you can pawn off on others without having to pay child support? (Kidding)

do not buy. nothing works. they never add anything unless its paid DLC. the entire game consists of nothing but partial afk growing while having to depend on someone else for food/water/protection. also they dont even have everything from the video in the game, including all locations displayed aswell as the sandworm, and magma elemental. they dont exist and they never will. this company did nothing but a money grab and they're still milking the people who wanted this game to be good so badly they're telling themselves its good enough.

I'm gonna start off by saying, I LOVE THIS GAME. However, there is one thing I greatly dislike about it The player base: Everyone and their mama are playing this game and they treat this game like its their WHOLE damn personality and life. Its a pixelated dragon game, its not that deep. And its sad, I am always seeing the chat clog with arguments are people belittling or bullying others. Disgusting. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it all. So just to give you an insight into what you'll put up with, yes every game has its drama. But this.. This game is probably #1 in my honest opinion. If you play please be kinder, you have no idea what the person on the other end is dealing with.
