Although the game is very intriguing and fun, I have to say I am very annoyed that I keep going bankrupt lol It is seemingly impossible to make any money in the game... I have 7000+ dollars in expenses a month on an average play through but only 3000 coming in each month.. I get all the questions right because I have watched and trained mma almost my entire life but that only keeps me afloat for about 1 in game month. I went bankrupt after having my fighters go 4-2.. It makes no sense to make the money side of things so difficult, if my guys are winning why am I not able to stay remotely in the positive?, I hired the TRASHEST coach available and I know many coaches who are coaching at a gym with UFC fighters and they don't make half the money the cheapest coach makes in a year. Also achievements are my main reason to play any game so the option with the extra money that turns achievements off is NOT an option. I am still giving the game a thumbs up because I do enjoy the game and I am determined to figure out how the hell to keep the gym open for more than 6 months. Fun and in depth. 7/10 the money side of things should be easier.

a decent game, i like the way the fights work, very clever and entertaining despite being text based. However I'd like there to be more fighters to choose from (unless I missed sthg) with the ability to scout them first too. Still, if you're an armchair ufc fan this could be for you - maybe wait for a discount?

I dont often review items but decided to review this one because ! ) Game was recently released and there isn't many reviews posted yet. 2 ) I really hope this title takes off so the developer can continue updates. 3 ) I love mma and this is the best one available 4 ) Developer is active on the discussion forum 5) Not certain the exact time in game but 100 hrs +/- in just a short time. Thats very rare for me About the Game Four tiers, four weight divisions where one is a womens division as it should be, Some of the best fights Ive ever seen came from the womens division in UFC https://youtu.be/CEA7fasR4pg?t=147 You have a gym that can be upgraded with various types of gym equipment that when upgraded allows you to carry more fighters & to implement more specialized training into your training schedule. Coaches can be given contracts and come from a 3 tier system. Coaches have one fighting style they specialize in. If you want your fighters ground game to be roman greco then find a coach that specializes in that style and hire him. Sponsors are the lifeline in not going bankrupt in the early game. Theres a lot to choose from but dont expect the bigger ones to sign until you have a stable of solid fighters or your reputation has risen significantly. You can also create a prodigy fighter. I think you can start them as early as 6 years old. You are asked 20 or so questions about their personality, you can spend action points you earn to quicken their training. I havent spent much time on this yet, the save ive been working I spend so much AP's on coach boosting I can't set aside the AP's needed to create the wonderkid I want, not yet anyway. If you think something is missing the developers are interested in hearing any suggestions. They used a couple of mine and it helped speed up my playstyle so much. I've really enjoyed my time playing MMA Executive. The game is probably the most deepest fight sim ive ever played. Two thumbs way up!!

I was skeptical before buying another MMA Sim, but I am happy I took this one. It has many different aspects that are really cool ("betting" on fights, prodigy training..). There are of course things that could be implemented in the future to make it even better but they did a very good job with this one!

For a budget game, if you like a game where you manage a team and are in control of mostly everything then this is the game for you. I would recommend being able to matchmake your fighters fights and being able to schedule the fights so it is easier to keep money flowing and also have more control of what you're doing!

I am a sucker for menu based strategy and I typically love games like this... Rock Manager, World of MMA, Kudos... All great time killers. But this... This abomination... I have never hated a game more in my entire life. The individual who compared this to MMA Tycoon is a liar or a friend of the dev trying to be nice. This is NOTHING like MMA Tycoon. This game is tedious, confusing and barely even qualifies as a game. The interface is a joke and the sliders are so lazy and non-intuitive that one of them actually just says "kick more". But even if you turn that all the way down your fighter will still breakdance around the cage throwing kick after kick after kick. This is all on top of the fact that the game itself looks like an Angelfire website. The fights aren't even worth talking too much about since you have literally no control over what happens... The sliders don't add up to any kind of true strategy and the matches play out like random flavor text. Also, you can't skip the ones that don't involve your gym, it speeds up the process but you are still required to watch and click through EVERY time. In 1 hour I fought once and made it through 3 training sessions. I lost fighting ability by training btw. You figure that one out. The entire experience besides that was waiting and clicking and waiting and clicking. I don't often write reviews but as a longtime fan of MMA Tycoon, a top 100 EA UFC player, and a longtime MMA spectator... I have to warn you that this game wouldn't be worth playing for free. It is a disgrace to whatever flash knockoff they used to make it and should never even be considered as a purchase. I payed 7 bucks on sale and I still requested a refund because that's how much I don't want this dev to be payed for this terrible effort at whatever they were going for. Don't quit your dayjob, dude.

So...This game is really cool. The problem is that nobody know that because it's not at all beginner friendly. You have to play it a very specific way in order to not run out of money in the beginning since your fighters make little money and the dev did not explain that at all so people get frustrated and stop playing it. Once you start making money it's really fun and you can try different things and experiment like you really should have been able to in the beginning. Fist of all you are supposed to pick fighters with at least 40 if not more mentality because that is the most important stat. You have to buy all the cheap equipment including mutliples of the same one (which I didn't know that) because that allows you more fighters. You want to have a lot of fighters since they're free and they make you money. Get 16 or 17 fighters but only the ones with good mentality. Then you have to get a trainer, if you don't the fighters get worse and your screwed. Get a tier 4 trainer cuz you can't afford anything else. Then put like 30 or 35 k in the AMMA stock in case you start running out of money, cuz the stock with go up most likely and you can sell some if needed. You also need to bet on fighters when prompted and watch the fight instead of skipping, this will save your ass when money is needed. You need to guess 2 or 3 right, but you can save after the amateur fights in order to reload the game if you don't get any correct. I just pick red winning by decision most of the time and that works pretty well. Not doing all this means you will run out of money and a game over. Training doesn't really matter as long as you have a trainer but an easier thing I found was to get a jujitsu coach and only train jujitsu with technique training being in the 30's or 40's. Your jujitsu with get really high really fast and you will tap everyone out in the amateur division. You will have a little trouble with that build in the SCCMMA but you will start making money faster. Also I think when training striking, that requires more strength and conditioning and less technique to get better at but I'm not sure, but jujitsu is straight up a technique skill. I hope this helps people that wanted this game to be good and gave up because they got frustrated, if anyone has questions they can ask me. My camp in this game makes like 40k a month so I got it down pretty well.

This game is awful, tried it on normal, there is no chance of enjoying it. Then played on ( easy ) bit insulting to the people that have bought it as almost all have found it difficult,I get a prodigy of around 94 and start making money and then the companies collapse, what a waste of my time. I understand why the share thing is there but it's set out is awful, I would like a refund, I bought it when reduced and I can see why it is reduced.

There are a lot of things in this game that just don't make sense. I spent a lot of time talking with the developer and making suggestions to make the game more fun and accurate, but they had no interest in changing anything. I waited to write my review to see if anything would change, but not a single update has been made. I wouldn't pay $5 for this game as it is, let alone the $30 or whatever it was that I actually paid. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the fighting and training algorithms, but nothing in the game is explained and everything else was just an afterthought. It feels like its only about 25% complete, and it doesn't look like any updates are on the horizon.
