A fun, addictive and a bit hard "City builder" game. tl;dr: I highly recommend despite the Engrish and difficulties of planning and resources gathering since it keeps the game engaging enough to manage these effectively.
First of all, the dev seems to be Japanese and having a somewhat understandable Engrish translation its a godsend, even though there are still some broken string here and there, but not enough to not understand much of what you need to do or what construction does.
Second the premise of the game its really simple, build houses, grow population, keep your people bellies full and improve their livelihoods by making coats, rugs, alcohols, sweets and of course much needed firewood to stay warm. You have a "Culture Level" that will unlock new buildings and harvestable resources as you increase this level, and objectives a fairly simple, population up to a certain point, x amount of buildings, x amount of port "quest" requests. For every newly constructed building (1 per), for every birth, for every dock (not confuse it with port) request fulfilled, for every achievement and using a special food to ark factory, you will get "ARK" a currency used to unlock new buildings and supposedly to build them (It takes 1 per newly placed building or one square of road, but if you build anything with 0 ARK there is no issues), early on you get enough to get you village going but it will become a huge grind later on (around culture level 4/5 and up) so knowing when to use and when to build its important a long with keeping those generations up.
Third, there is resource gathering in this game, the 2 more important ones are Grass (Farming uses A LOT of this) and Wood (Firewood its the basic power for keeping houses warms and for some factories) since these are the most used for keeping villagers fed and warm. Then other 3 early resources are mushrooms (important for food, fishing and hunting), herbs (for food, farming and cooking) and Stones (Construction, homes and roads use it a lot). There are more resources after this that are unlocked as your city prosper (namely Clay, Iron, Gold, Copper, Crystal and Silver). Farming/Ranching its a must with a LOT of variety and you can later make them into a LOT of different types of foods with factories near your homes. As a caveat, some managing of Rocks, Clay and the 2 types of Mountains its necessary since these resources are "limited" in a sense that its difficult to come across them if you exhaust your entire island of them, there are some structures that will let you make more of these but it requires a rare material (Crystals) and they are dangerous to use (Exploding underground water for clay, falling Meteors for stones to name a few), the other material that needs managing its Trees, you can plant more with a special worker but it consumes a lot of grass, also Grass grows almost anywhere but most notably near trees, herbs and mushrooms only grow near trees.
Fourth, food managing its deceptively simple but hard to properly manage, if you explode your population you will run into a lot of food/firewood related problems so striking a balance between getting more food sources and building new houses its a must, luckily you get a counter for how much food you have in your homes (A good rule of thumb its keeping more than half of it full, lower and there will be problems in the short/long run) and Firewood (If there isn't enough more food its wasted since they are cold, also a counter for it with the same rule as food, more than half). Later on another culture level, once you build a new building you will get the food Storage counter to help with keeping the balance, and the "Enviromental" counter which its something like how happy your villagers are with the extra goods (Alcohol, sweets, clothes, rugs, tools) and nearby buildings (Like parks, wells, fountain and some other unique buildings with extra effects), the more you have, the longer lived your villagers will be.
Fifth, Planning/Zoning its a learned skill and not something you will get on your first island, it will take a decent amount of practice to know what works best and what doesn't (ProTip, Carriers in range of BOTH houses and food storages/factories for best effect. Protip2 place Food Factories in front, storage road storage or tools/clothes/firewood factories behind food factories and Farms behind storages for a well managed supply chain)
Six, there is no combat danger to your villagers but there are a lot of wild animals or "Pests" since they will steal from your farms and storages if you leave them alone, having enough hunters covering a wide range its necessary to control these or you will have a bad time.
Now for the cons:
- Villagers dying its a pain since you will need to assign new ones back to their workplaces, but there is 2 tools to deal with this, early on you can click on the death announcement of a villager to immediatly select+go to the workplace to place a new one and Later on there are buildings and Upgrades that allow auto recluiting when someone days and there is available villagers in the work pool. Another problem its building too far away from your houses will make it harder to recluit new workers to those sites, and being that far away makes it more dangerous since they can't reach their homes fast enough to get warm and eat food.
- Fire, it comes out of nowhere and can cause a lot of problems where almost every villager comes running looking for water to extinguish the fire, the only recommendation its placing wells in a good number of places so they don't have to run that far.
- Construction its a pain since there is only one button to forcibly assign constructors, otherwise i believe it either works by who's nearer or the order in which you set the build order, early on it makes it difficult to place roads because of this (You either place long roads that might only employ one villager, i haven't truly checked this yet, but takes a lot of time to construct and get the materials to the construction or do short roads but it takes a lot of people from the constructors pool)
- Warehouse/Storage range its not clear, so you might have some situations where you lose resources because it was too far and the alternative its building railroads (same situation as roads) to move from warehouse to warehouse (and this comes with their own unique problems, like not properly planning your warehouse space, taking a lot of space from place to place reducing expansion of your homes, etc). There is balloon carriers to manually select which resource to move between warehouses but it requires a lot of fuel and takes a lot if its too far.

This is the most fun city building game I've played in a long time. I already spent a long time with it without having unlocked everything. The graphic is lovely and there are small details that make me smile. The structure is very well and it's not that easy in the beginning to find out where everything is connected and what would be the best way for building your production chains. But it's fun to explore.
Beside the endless game there are some challenges which you can take. I think I will spend much more time with this game. It can be slow paced at times but this is also something I quite enjoy.
I hope many more people will find this game, it's really a gem!

This game is surprisingly fun. I didn't expect this at first. But it's a very comfy city builder game.
Seriously though, don't neglect food production. You'll need a bazillion fields quicker than you might think.
Anyways, there is one downside though. The english translation is... well it's not good. It communicates the message, if you are willing to think a little about what you just read, so it's not game breaking. But still it's a slight let-down.
Still recommend this game though. So far I'm having lots of fun.
And if the developers of this game read this: Message me, I'm more than willing to polish up those english translations for you, for free.

You know what...? Despite all the issues and wonkiness of this game, I love it.
I like the engrish. I like the difficulty (eh, for the most part), I love the graphics. The menu system reminds me of retro city builders. When I get free time these days, this is my go to game when I need a little break. I do wish there was a less tedious way of reassigning workers when someone dies -- but look... this is one dedicated dev making this game, and I got far more than I expected from this adorable indie gem.
I wish the range of civilians was higher, so I didn't have to have as much segmentation in my village... however, that's not too bad to work around. That or maybe a storehouse/stockpile transportation system that was not dependent on railroads or balloons... maybe like a caravan with cute little pixel pack animals <3~ ?
I would highly recommend this game if you love city/village sims with a nice progression system and some quirks. It's well worth the price, and I highly recommend supporting this indie dev, as he/she (I dunno) has been consistent. So much as to release holiday updates, which is always nice.

I'd heard nothing but great things about this game and so gave it a shot.
Whilst it seemed fun at first, I grew to hate how dependant the villagers were on you right clicking and constantly telling them what to do. If that wasn't bad enough the villagers would complain there was no space to put materials, even if you had three spare storage places for the specific materials. It was time consuming clicking on every single villager to fix the issue, and it just ruined the experience overall as it kept happening again and again.

I did not find this game to be particularly engaging. My biggest issue with the game is that the English translation is abysmal. The gameplay itself is not that riveting either. I found myself quite bored by it within minutes of playing. The art is simplistic, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it's also quite minuscule, making it hard to see the characters. There is a zoom, function, but I did not find it helped much. The speed control options were very small, and the menus are poorly explained. I did not find much good in this game.

I love it. I bought it a few days ago and can't stop playing ^^
My first island was down in only a few hours, I started a new one, and 10hours later its still alive and ongoing ;D
I got myself a bit into the Rail-System, I tried and failed till I got the hang of it xD
I love the fact the games doesn't explain everything to you. It's a progress.
The menu and interface was confusing first, but i like the simplicity of just right- and leftclicking.
Good job <3

A cute little game here! Simple management game.
As stated, you ar stranded on an island with some people. Help them Build and survive, where you start by collecting wood, stone, grass... and so on.
It is quite slow paced so if you looking for a (jump straight in too the action rts) then this is not for you :P
It is fully playible, and the updateds ar frequent. The translation in the game is the only gripe i have vith the game... And maybe the lack of a time speed button... But its far from gamebreaking!
You may find som gameplay on youtube... Take a look and see for your self if it is something you are willing to support :)

This is one of those games where every time a resident dies you need to figure out what job they were assigned to and assign someone else to it or things start to fall apart.
Aside from this the rest of the issues did not get in the way of this being a fun game but for me this feature is not fun and is not something I would recommend.

There's really not a nice way to put this, but this game seems like it's an early access title, made by a child. Yet somehow it's supposedly finished and they're asking 10€ for it.
The English is super broken in many places ("nomal" vs "normal", "europian", "poteto", ...), and there's random Windows dialogs opening from some in-game actions (e.g. starting a new game), probably trying to render Japanese in them as they just show up with a title "??" and the buttons say "??(Y)" and "???(N)".
The game has one of the worst user experiences I've had in a while. It has various information and "questions" popping up in the bottom left during game creation, such as "Special product of this island: Poteto" [sic], "Animal friendly for this island: Cow", and "Is this island OK?" - then the actual controls to interact with are on the top right corner of the screen, as far away as you can possible have them, so you don't even notice them at first.
The in-game menus are incredibly clumsy and they don't seem to use any control scheme normal games do. The controls are also very unreliable. You right-click on something, and it might do the action the game tells you it does, or it might open some other menu, or it might just do neither. The menus are poorly structured and it's difficult to remember what is where.
The game seems incredibly shallow, and doesn't at least give you any indication to expect much more from it than what you see in the first 30min or so. There's some unlocks based on "Ark" points, which are not really explained more than that the game randomly rewards them to you during the tutorial, and that when there's a child born you get one.
And now that I mentioned the tutorial, it's one of the most annoying ones you can imagine, dialog after dialog after dialog of some short one-two sentence things interrupting your gameplay for no reason and really not telling you a whole lot of useful information. For some reason the dev(s?) expects you to be interested in their nonsense enough to really focus on these dialogs, fed to you sentence at a time, 10 dialogs in a row. I ended up briefly glancing at the first 1-2 to see if they had anything actually important in them and then rapid-firing clicks to get through the rest.
In short: Do not buy, refund if you already did.
Try MicroTown instead, that seems like a much more finished game (still in early access though), with much better experience.
