This VN was admittedly shorter than I expected, but was even more fulfilling than I thought it was. It's a very cute and enjoyable story, so I highly recommend it. If you're reading this, then you know why you're here and I can promise you'll get it. It really makes you work for the true ending though. I got the bad ending five times before I got the good ending, let alone the true ending

Short visual novel. Through a mistake in inputting her data into a dating website Miley and Emily are matched up. This is strange, since both are straight girls. Depending on your choices, though, that may change...

Eh. I played the basic version without the adult DLC. It's a very short visual novel about unpleasant people, with lacklustre art. The description calling them straight girls is incorrect. Emily is clearly bi and Miley never once implies that she likes men or is uncomfortable dating a woman. There's a single scene very early on that references "traps". Trans people aren't traps. When I say lacklustre art, I'm mostly talking about the poses which are just inappropriate for the scenes. - In the shower scene she's clearly drawn lying down but they've just put her in a shower and pretended that people shower with their knees bent. - She does this ahegao face thing all the time regardless of the situation. - With her hands constantly clasped between her thighs she goes through the whole game looking like she's desperate to use the bathroom.

Dating Life Miley X Emily is a very sweet mini story. Miley is a fairly new character to the Paradise Cove games while Dharker game veterans know Emily as the flirty business owner. The story itself is basically set over one night when Miley tries online dating but messes up her own profile. She is put on a date with Emily and they both agree to just go where the night takes them. There are 5 endings in total that you could probably get in about 3-4 hours. The Cg's are very beautifully drawn and the dialogue is very unique and was fun to read for me personally. If you have never played a Dharker Studios game before and are considering trying one, This would be a good one to try.

This short yuri visual novel is worth checking out thanks to delivering a enjoyable experience. Story: The story is pretty simple, but it does a good job showing how this scenario can go in a variety of directions with the endings highlighting how choices can make or break a date. Characters: Miley and Emily are both wonderful in their own right and the dynamic between, especially in the the best path, is great to read. If you want a good polar opposite love story these gals are for you. Art: The artwork is pretty great, even with the two different groups working on it. Granted if you are used to the artwork of the company's main artist the new stuff might stick out more, but it still not bad. Music: The main theme is great, the rest of the stuff works NSFW content: Wish there could be more because it is good. Overall a nice outing for Dharker Studios

I want to like these games, they had huge potential to exploring how the two characters manage an unexpected date, but the potential was wasted. This one was just far too short for the hype, it says short in the description, but I've played longer demos. Honestly, it was just a bit disappointing.

TL;DR this whole game was made for 18+ patch and it's not worth it. The phrase "usually heterosexual women" in the description should've tipped me off but nope. So we have one MC who is "technologically challenged" to the point of accidentally creating a male profile for herself, changing the name and all on a dating app. And another one who sees a rare chance to do whatever she wants, being presented with a desperate fool MC is. Character dynamics? Plot? Unheard of!

Nothing says "romance" quite like having your parts touched by a stranger after being accused of having a penis and being told that they think incest is sexy. All within the first five minutes of meeting them. (obligatory "trans people aren't traps anyway" comment goes here)

Okay, first off, the description's wrong; both main characters are very obviously bisexual. There are a couple of common problems. Text should be unlabeled if it's the protagonist's thoughts and labeled with their name if it's spoken, and it's not done consistently (meaning Miley says some things out loud she probably isn't intended to). Miley has an "ahegao" face emote used in nonsexual contexts. There are some gynecological closeups on one route, probably intended for men buying yuri. There's basically only one pose for each character with outfit changes -- no one gestures. The writing is OK, though it describes what I'd consider a really bad date (and a worse one-night stand).
Emily is a manipulative, narcissistic bitch who plays constant mind games and sets little "tests." Desperate or not, I'd have walked out on her after the practical joke with the spices; you can put someone in the hospital that way.
Miley's an appealing character, but she's a cliché anime-protagonist-doofus; with how many characters like that we've seen it only makes sense they'd have perfected the formula. Warning: Early-on transphobic joke. It's offhanded enough that I'd normally just let it pass, but I was already pretty 50-50 about whether to recommend this, and, no.

This review isn't one I've been looking forward to, but I still feel obligated to write it. Normally, I like what Dharker Studios puts out. Not love, like. Negligee was good enough, and Negligee: Love Stories was fantastic. The idea of a game exploring Emily's personality more really caught my interest. Don't get me wrong, the writing's great, and my main purpose in buying it was satisfied. She's a great character, and the one created to explore her, Miley, is given a nice amount of depth for the short time we've known her. The sprites and CGs, like practically anything Kopianget does, is stunningly beautiful and more than enough incentive for 100% completion. That said, I sadly can't say that, as it is now, I can recommend this game. One reason is that there's an extra charge for the adult content. I can understand continuing the patch system for such things given Steam's ambiguous enforcement of its content policy, but not making that patch a free option feels cheap and underhanded, even given the game's lower-than-usual price. The other reason I can't recommend this game is because it has a very unpolished feel. The icon is the standard Ren'Py project icon rather than a custom one, which for a studio like Dharker feels like a cut corner too many. In lots of the scenes, the music doesn't match the feel of the scene, and triggers at odd moments. There's lots of room for improvement, and if I see these changes made, I'd be more than happy to change my vote. At the moment, though, I recommend against buying this game.
