i think i enjoyed this game more than Arizona 2. Only one thing i didn't like much is that wold scale feels bigger than the real one

Damn, sadly came to this game immediately after completing some amazing VR mods and it really highlights how janky and rough TWD:O is in comparison. I feel so conflicted. The universe it there, some solid VA work is there, and I could see myself really getting lost in the mission-based scavenging etc. There's enough good to make me really miss the excellent. Controls are just too unreliable, movement is slow to the point that they overshoot zombie tension and land in painful slog, interaction with the environment feels inconsistent and not intuitive... kind of reminds me of those beautiful and tasty-looking sugar cookies you get at the store, only to take a bite and find them dry and unsatisfying. Leaves you wishing you'd just made some chocolate chip cookies yourself. I'm hungry.
