I had fun. Fat fox is cute. Some levels are a tad bit difficult but not impossible. The intro is silly. :]

For me; Catch a Duck hearkens back to 1992's Animal Quest on DOS. There's still a hierarchy of animal enemies & you are in a natural "maze" setting. The only thing missing from Catch a Duck in comparison is the turn based gameplay and grid.
Technical:
Catch a Duck was made in Unity and had problems when I allowed it to run over 60hz. Luckily I had just setup a TV (to extend my laptop display to) so I just played it on that screen and it worked swimmingly. Without playing in 60hz enemies would catch me every time and I'd venture to guess the game is impossible at 144hz.
Game:
The game is fun and provides enough of a challenge throughout. The art style is quirky and fun yet unobnoxious. There are some control frustrations. I would have loved to use the D-Pad instead of analog. I didn't look around the map much until the later levels; but this could streamline the entire play through. The bonus levels seem very odd and tacked on compared to the rest of the game. This game also has achievements tied to playing in one sitting.
I'd recommend Catch a Duck if it seems like anything you are familiar with or you generally like short action puzzle games.

Fantastic idea for a puzzle game, but every element feels more random than placed on purpose.
And controlling fox is a nightmare, it always going too far, almost never stopped when I wanted it to stop.

Feels more like a random number generator than a puzzle game. Out of the 5-ish game rules that were given was that animals cannot move diagonally... and I hate to be the bearer of bad news to the devs, but they definitely can.

Catch a Duck is a cute little action-arcade game with 25 levels and 5 bonus levels, offering a couple hours of gameplay. The graphics, music, and SFX are appropriately stylised and consistent throughout, and it does achieve a feeling of being a sly fox: chasing down rabbits into dead end passages; luring wolves and bears into traps; tricking hunters into shooting at each other.
Unfortunately, the game is also very flawed: mostly in minor ways that are needlessly annoying or confusing. For example, you can't navigate the menus using a mouse. That seems like an oversight.
The biggest issue is probably the slightly clunky movement. The fox sometimes continues moving past the point where the player intended for them to go. In particular, when the fox eats a rabbit, it disappears and is replaced with a non-moving 'combat' graphic. Unfortunately, the invisible fox is still controllable, which can easily result in mistakes on the player's part.
The achievements for 'do an action X times' are not tracked between play sessions, and must be done in one sitting, which is incredibly unintuitive, and easily leads one to suspect the achievements are broken.
The music and SFX can be muted, but once they are, there is no indication of which button turns which audio back on, nor is there any indication of what the buttons actually are once they've been pressed. If the player mutes the music and SFX, when they open the menu, they just see two crossed-out circles, rather than icons depicting music/SFX. Also, even with the game muted, the opening cutscene still plays with sound every time the game is started.
Some of the map elements are a little too similar to be easily distinguished, meaning there are some tiles that look like walls but can, in fact, be walked over.
The bonus levels don't explain that there is no goal to complete, and that they are merely an opportunity to score extra points. This means the player will likely spend their first encounter in a bonus level trying to find the duck, rather than eating the rabbits, and won't realise the objective of the level until they run out of time and are presented with a "Hurrah!"—the only indication that they didn't fail to complete the objective.
Also, bonus levels 3 and 4 are almost exactly the same, which is both confusing for players who might not realise they're different levels at first, but also seems lazy on the developer's part.
Ultimately, the game could use a pass of polish in almost every area, but even then, it's not worth the pricetag for just a couple hours of gameplay. I got it for 90% off, and I'm happy with that, but I wouldn't pay full price for it, and I can't recommend others do.

Catch a Duck Is a super fun strategy, puzzle game. You need to find the correct path, outsmart your foes and cause chaos along the way. Highly recommended

Simple but tactful game of mouse and cat chase puzzles.
Requires some quick thinking, good reflexes and patience.
Cheesy voice acts.
Clunky controls and very sensitivity at times around 'corners'.
Eating number of ducks achievements, required to be 'in one single game session'.
Was decent.

Visuals are cute, audio and gameplay are both a bit limited. Got it on sale and it was fine for ~2h of play, but if it doesn't give you warm fuzzies to look at it, you won't miss much by skipping it. The controls and interface are a bit clunky on keyboard, I didn't try a controller. Don't go into this expecting a super fluid experience.
It's a relatively casual "stealth" thing: get to the duck on each of 20 core levels and eat it; collect up to 3 stars per level to help unlock 5 "Bonus" levels. There aren't a ton of mechanics on offer: dodge and hide from animals and hunters, lure them into traps to open up paths, lure them into fights with each other to make your life easier. It gets a bit strategic, but it's not a brainbuster. The Bonus levels mostly don't involve ducks, they're just a chance to start brawls between animals and get some more points.
You will die-and-retry a lot, since animal movements are a bit randomized and the timing is weird -- animals might not spot you when you want them to spot you so that you can strategically lure them someplace. This means that even if you have the right plan in mind, it just might not work out a few times. It was challenging enough that I kept playing, but frustrating enough that I'm glad there's no more to play.
You can toggle music and FX on/off, but that's about it for settings.
The unlock conditions on some achievements are unclear, so I wrote a Guide explaining them. Won't repeat that info here.

Quite adorable and relaxing little puzzle game where you move a fox around a map avoiding traps and enemies while trying to...catch a duck, of course.
Got this at -90% which put it at an average price of loaf of bread in my country. For that dirty cheap price I got a 2h entertainment and can say I'm much pleased with this purchase.
I can recommend this game to everyone, young and old, achievement hunters, casual players, etc. If you have kids and want to get them interested in puzzle games, this one's just perfect. Later levels may be somewhat challenging even for adults as well, so while it's a fairly easy game you can't finish it without using your brain at least a little. ;)
It will probably put a smile on your face, and in case you watched old eastern block cartoons as a kid you'll appreciate the artwork even more and thus that smile will be wider.
Get foxy!
