If u like picking your own AFL team, and having the play be simulated its very good. All u would ever need if were actually the coach of that team. Its a good game highly recomend.

fun game, sometimes a bit buggy but defenitely doesnt interfere with enjoyment!

I've been monitoring the progress of this game for a while and after having the full version announced i committed and purchased the game. At first, the game comes across as being simple and amateurish, which there's nothing wrong with. The more you play it the more you start to realize that not only is it still riddled with bugs, but it also feels like an unfinished and unpolished product. I think there's potential for this game to be pretty decent, but i'm sorry to say that it's not worth the money i paid for it. Pros - All the teams are available with there corresponding players - the scoring is relatively realistic - management of lists and players seems somewhat comprehensive - Gives you multiple leagues and narratives to play in - It's still enjoyable to play, despite the bugs Cons - The players during the match day simulation are only represented by numbers, it makes it confusing to keep tabs on players, particularly the opposition - The players during match day don't line up with the field, so the simulation will regularly be played off screen when its down the bottom in the offensive/defensive 50 - Interchanging and moving players around on the field is essentially impossible to understand and operate - You cant read the full description of what game day tactics do, because the description box does not accommodate for all of the text - During match day simulation, it will randomly pause and then start again regularly - The football is difficult to see - There's virtually no sound - The commentary text is a tiny box and is exceptionally linear - The tab system in the main screen can be quite disorientating and the information you are provided is extremely convoluted and difficult to navigate - The game screen does not automatically adjust to your computer screen, you have to rejig it around manually and even then you don't get the full field in the game.

Every update has improved it, scouting, possessions by players (although key position players still dominating stats), scoring is back to a realistic margin great game to start out as early access keen to see full game that has all the features and doesn't crash before a full season finished

It has been roughly 1 year since I have played this game and it has improved a lot. I can tell that this game is on the verge of taking the step to become the best AFL game on the market. These are the changes I would make to get this game to compete with the other manager games. Make it a full screen game. Be able to delete saves. Every time you load back in for the game to keep the previous stats from when you played last. More realistic player stats and overalls. Have the proper names for players in the state leagues. Have all the teams histories to go back to at least when the AFL was made into the AFL. Have coach overalls and for the coaches to have an impact on how the team operates successfully in tactics. Be able to edit player potential overall. I feel like all of this can be done in the next 6 months with updates.

The game is a buggy mess. Stats don't record properly and then after a couple of seasons it will hit a point where it will crash and won't advance further. Wasted hours of my time on a save that can progress no further and simply can't be bothered starting a new one. Only AFL game of its type on the market but simply not worth your time.

Best and most up to date AFL sim. Drafting does need some subtle tweaks.The game also refuses to work if you add any expansion teams. If that is done, then this game will become my No.1 AFL sim and easily the best on the market

A lot of fun. I've always been a fan of sports sim games, and this is the best sim I've run across of a sport that's extremely difficult to re-create. As I write this, it's release day and I've only spent one hour with the game, but I expect to spend hundreds more hours with Australian Football Coach 2020.

This is a fun game. Is it perfect? No. If you're expecting a super high quality, professionally produced game, this isn't for you. But this game doesn't claim to be that, it just is what it is. A fun, niche game that is the only one of its kind in existence. Developer is very receptive to feedback and frequently releases updates as well.

If you're a fan of sports management games and AFL you'll love this game. Gives you complete control over player training and the list of the club you choose to control, and with a fantasy draft option you can even start a club from scratch. Has bugs as you'd expect from an early access game but the developer uploads patches almost everyday and is very receptive to feedback in the games official discord server. And if there's anything in the game you don't agree with (player ratings, position, height, weight, etc.) you can customize it all with ease in game or in the game files.
