IDK What I Read But..
This visual novel is a blend of (Imo) love craftian elements, a dash of humor, cute chibi art and sort of doesn't make sense in most of the story. Play it if its your cup of tea, my mind is to not recommend tbh but I feel it's not that super bad also. So it's a bit conflicting oh well. I loved the music and the character sprites above anything.
You follow the life of a heiress in Bakuto clan some sort of a Japanese mafia gang from the old times. There are a few other factions to which the Bakuto clan has feuds with. Then out of nowhere you realise the heroine has powers which I don't really see the origin from. It seems to be related to a phantom, a love craftian based monster which seems very powerful. The story is literally about uniting with the other factions and saving the world from this monster. Compared to many love craftian entities, the monster however is not that aggressive or evil and is negotiable I noticed. But I really don't feel the logic behind it. I know in love craftian stories things are a bit messy in general, but I understood naught. The story is also shoujo ai friendly but nothing major happens. The characters are okay, the male leads are one of a kind and I felt unique from each other and has a complete different role with saving the world with the heroine. I liked Tamaki a lot and his route is very cute. I think a character being a low class servants (game classifies this) to one of the potential leads and then still being another potential lead is interesting. For the gameplay I would say reaching an ending is insanely difficult especially in the climax scenario nearing the ending, The gameplay is bug-free however and the fast forward button is very fast lol. I don't understand how the options made any logical sense whatsover, most of the time I had to refer guides to get to a good route? Maybe it's just me.
The art was nice, i think the backgrounds were pretty good too. I thought the chibi sprites were very cute. The menu screen is what I have a bit of complaint about, when i first launched the game I thought the game was glitching and not part of the art lmao. The music is very good, I did not like the theme at the menu screen on headphones it's a bit loud and energetic, but it's to preference.
