TL:DR: It's just..not very good. Not worth the price and the time. Was excited for a 2D action/RPG kind of game. I wasn't bothered that it looks like a flash game from a decade ago. But it also plays like a bad flash game! - Core combat is shallow and mediocre. - Itemization system is crap. - Character progression is very lacking and disappointing. - There are just few levels/biomes, very repetitive. You just run through them, then do those 'portals' (essentially an arena room with spawning mobs, kill or be killed). Nothing to look forward to. - Button mash the melee attack to kill swarms of enemies for no reward. All in all, it's a flash game that somehow gets sold for $10. Would rather replay Dead Cells, Starbound or anything in-between for the same price.

Great combination of a platformer shooter and roguelike. Highly recommended for the low price it goes for, well worth the money

Just one of the best roguelite games in 2019! Dev's fixed all issues very fast and now I have smooth and challenging gameplay. Really want to get a permadeath mode :) Just try this one if you like roguelike\roguelite genre. Attention: controls are pretty sharp but I can't say its a minus for this game. RECOMMEND!

Me and my friend didn't like that you stop moving while melee atacking and the fact that it's difficult to hit enemies when they walk inside of you. And i will probably play it again if it gets 4-player Skilltree was a little boring, there were only stat ups and new items to the drop pool. Would really like to see flashy skills Still a game with lots of potential.

Obviously, people are drawing the comparison between this and Dead Cells, and even Enter The Gungeon. While the game does have a similar aesthetic to Dead Cells, I don't think it's all that similar to either of them. The game has fluid controls, solid combat, and even some tight platforming. The loot drops are really cool and I like that they stay between runs. Skill tree is huge and reminds of an MMORPG with the amount of skills available. Pros: Good progression Good challenge level Great aesthetic Great item drops and characters Cons: Meh game feel Wish I had could look around more with the camera Overall pretty good, and I'll continue to play for a while.

Pretty neat game. It's a bit clunky; with some of the menus and mechanics but it can be figured out, and controls can be changed to make the character feel better to control. Gunplay and combat feel good. The game is pretty grindy. So enemies and bosses can start to feel repetitive given how many runs you'll do (including subsequent difficulties). Your items carry over run after run so it plays more like a looter shooter which is cool. You'll always be on the lookout for higher level loot on runs to optimize your loadout. A way to save different builds/loadouts would've been handy. It's very manual and time consuming currently. Overall not a bad game. Would recommend.

I did not like the game. "Collapsed" has too little content, but lots of flaws: the movement is choppy, the AI is dumb, the visual design is simplistic, the firefights quickly become a mess while the melee can be trivialized by stacking the opponents at one spot, most of the items are garbage you would not even check the stats of, and the bosses are way too easy and predictable.

I just spent an hour writing a great review. But this new shi**y steam ate it. so now i am making a lousy short one. The game is polished, beautiful, and has great gameplay. Controls are responsive, and feels good. Enemies and bosses are unique, and looks great. There is a big skilltree with a good amout of unlocks and things to work for. But it has next to no content. I beat act one in 3 hours. but then found out the other 9 acts are complete copies of the first one. Mobs, bosses, maps. They are all the same. Only difference is you get a little bit more of a conversation for ever time you beat an act. So i basically beat the game in 3 hours. The other 9 acts are just a grind to keep you playing. The story is non existant, Its hidden in special messages that are all randomised around the maps, so there is really no way to put it together since you don't know where it starts and where it ends. There are 4 playable classes, all with there own unique weapons that you cannot switch out. you will have to upgrade them with various items you find on the maps, and even if it feels like you have plenty of options for builds, you are extremely limited in how you can build your hero. At least if you want a build that can actually get you trough the maps. Melee is useless and there are no builds that works well for it. Stick with range. That is 3 out of 9 item slots that is more or less just wasted. It gets boring really fast. It's repetitive. Probably better in multiplayer, but i haven't tried that, since you can't play localy, and don't wanna buy an extra copy. The game is probably worth 5-10 euro just for the gameplay, depending on what you like in a game. But don't expect a story.

For the most part, I think this roguelite platformer is a lot of fun, but it kinda feels like a nice flash game when it comes to controls and combat. You can choose between 4 characters that share the same loot chest and skill tree - not a huge fan of that because playing one character essentially powers-up everyone else. Each hero has a different ranged and a melee weapon, unique passives, and active skills which are unlocked by equipping ability items. I did not get to test the online co-op because nobody plays this game, but I definitely think that multiplayer in roguelites is an awesome feature. I like almost everything that it has to offer, the only major problem for me is dealing with spam, sometimes there are too many colorful effects on the screen that make it hard to dodge. The game has a decent loot system which includes an inventory where you can modify both of your weapons and armor. There are many active and passive items that also get additional effects based on rarity. As with most roguelites, this game generates a random level from several unique environments, each world ending with a boss fight. When you die your progress is not completely lost as you get to keep your currency and belongings. The game can be completed under 1 hour, but you have to replay it 9 more times with evolving boss mechanics and stronger enemies (aka New Game+). Surprisingly it has decent platforming features, which includes double-jump, wall sliding, and dashes. However, I think the stage design is only serviceable as you might find its formula somewhat repetitive. The balancing of the game needs some work, I often find that game gets too easy or too hard due to poor scaling of enemies. Generally speaking, I still like its gameplay loop as it provides enough RPG depth for replay value, not to mention its gigantic skill tree.
Pros:
+ 4 characters + big skill tree + decent animation & nice soundtrack + online co-op + achievements
Cons:
UI Feedback - There are 2 really annoying problems. The game needs skill pages because all of the characters share the same one, which means you have to constantly switch them around (since most of the characters won't use the same build and items). Also, not being able to drag items with the mouse makes it hard to organize your stash. Spam - There are a lot of enemies on the screen shooting all kinds of colorful projectiles that make it hard to distinguish a good effect from a bad one. It's not as bad on some of the stages, but I often find myself getting stuck in some cluster****. Visually the game takes time to get used to, there are many traps and effects that blend into the background. Sharing Skill tree - I don't like this feature because it kind of removes the purpose of multiple characters. Imagine if leveling a character in Borderlands would also unlock skills for other characters (why?). Each character should start from the beginning when it comes to skills, and they should have some unique traits in there as well (I know it's an indie game, but just saying). I buy RPG games to have power progression, I don't need to skip the grind for 3 characters, I bought the game so I could do it myself. Overall Thoughts: 7/10 I would say that game is pretty average, but its online features and multiple characters make it more attractive than most roguelites that lack those. It's not the best game out there, but if you are a loot ***** that just wants to grind those sweet-sweet stats until everything dies in one shot, you will probably enjoy it as I have.
