Good and cool little game that lacks a certain refinement in its level design. The excellent vibrant aesthetics and engaging gameplay mechanics carry the game.

It'd probably be a neutral review for me. The game is so full of charm and it's really pretty to look at with it's pixel art. It straight up reminds me of Spirited Away. It's very japanese and charming. The combat is really unique with it's jumping and splashing of ink, haven't seen that really in any other game, or at least implemented the way it is.
But it can be a bit repetitive with it's mission structure and the simple objectives they ask you to complete. Most of the missions are just 'go to this place and get x number of this type of rock and turn it in.' The objectives/missions feel phoned in, especially compared to how well animated the game is.
I think I got about half way through it and then didn't finish. It was fun while it lasted though.
