It's a decent ambient soundtrack.

A beautiful ambient soundtrack that sounds great outside the game

I bought this only to provide a few extra dollars for the developers. This game has provided me hundreds of hours of entertainment for such a little cost that I'm shocked and amazed.

This whole soundtrack fits the game well but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I want to know what the composer was smoking when he made the AI's theme because It's exquisite

I already purchase the game in early access stage. As this game release today , I purchase this dlc to support the Dev. It is collection of good soundtrack and even can play without running the game.

Music is nice. I'm pretty sure since this is like buying the album, which means you can probably use it with non-brand offending impunity in online content :) - Don't quote me though, I'm not a lawyer Would be kinda dumb tho if you couldn't after paying for what is essentially an album...

Low-quality recordings, and no cover image in the metadata. For eight bucks, I expected lossless .flacs with proper metadata tags.

The game is great and the music. So I bought it. I would very much love to hear the music as it was intended in a lossless format. Aside from format, the music is fantastic and ambient. In some instances it evokes both sorrow and loneliness to wonder at just how small we really are in a depth of the infinite...

Bought it mostly to support the dev, but it's nice to have some of the BG music to bring with you. It would be awesome to have them in FLAC format instead of just MP3.

There are a lot of things going for this soundtrack. -1st off, it's 2:23:49 long! -2nd, its two composers, Harnes Kretzer, and Per Kiilstofte wrote compositions that span the gamut from ambient to electronic and industrial. -3rd, it's the soundtrack to a great game. There is, however, a frustrating problem that makes me give this a thumbs down: 192 kbps vbr encoding. At a time when game studios are offering soundtracks in FLAC and even WAV formats, <320 kbps mp3s are completely unacceptable. The purpose of buying a soundtrack is to enjoy it separately from the game; such enjoyment is greatly diminished with poor sound quality. I have payed far less for soundtracks of equal and greater lengths in finer formats. Boxelware, it is not 2002, and this is not Limewire; give us quality encodes for our money.
