Pretty sweet arcade-y indie game.
You play as a UFO and you abduct people/cats/birds.
Sometimes Godzilla appears in the background. What's not to love?
Recomended game for a coffee break.

It got old pretty fast. 12 minutes and I felt like I was just about done. It just feels like it needs something a little more to it. It would be a decent enough phone game playing for a minute or two at a time.

It is what it is.
It could be on your phone for a 5mn break in the public transports (not in Paris metro if you'd like to keep your phone a couple of months more of course).
But it is on your PC.
You will buy for exactly what is in the video. You cannot get wrong in your choice.

Such a relaxing lil arcade. Sounds of screaming people and confused cats are pure symphony/

Simple but addicting and with well-done modern retro graphics. I also like that there are things to work your way through, like the achievements and the flying saucer upgrades.

Super fun and simple arcade game. I love being the alien rather than defending the earth. Muahahah. Great game!
Satisfying Simple Arcade
They Came From The Sky is a simple arcade score chaser like game where you have to "rescue" humans under the guise that you need them for delicious human smoothies. Gameplay is pretty simple. You have a ship that goes back and forth automatically across the top of the screen and humans that run around the bottom. You have two input commands. One does a warp jump which allows you to speed up your ship and the other fires your abduction beam. Every time you fire your abduction beam it switches the move direction of your ship so this can be used to avoid the oncoming bullets from the resistance the humans put up. I've made it about to the point where there are military with machine guns. I'm curious to see how much further it goes.
There are more ships you can unlock by collecting coins. The coin rate is okay. You can lose the coin off the side of the screen sometimes. The final two achievements of the game which is to unlock all ships and to collect 5000 humans may take a way a bit of the arcade charm for achievement hunters; but this is a great game to pick up every once in a while and play a few runs. A little tip I didn't find out for quite a while is that the humans on the side can be knocked down by using your warp speed.

All in all this a good coffee break arcade game. It's my first experience with FobTi interactive and it's a good enough one for me to try to seek out some of their other games in the future. For a bite size arcade game that will give you a few hours of entertainment I can recommend They Came From the Sky.

They Came From the Sky is a fun little endless two button score chaser. Abduct humans and animals with your flying saucer and make combos to score big before you get shot down. Even though it's entertaining it feels grindy having to collect coins to buy all the ships. However where it really lacks is not having Steam leaderboards, once you've collected all the achievements there's not much left to do without any competition. If that's something you don't mind it's worth a buy.
If leaderboards were to be added this could turn into a great little game to compete with friends in.
