This is what i wanted! Get in a car in vr and have fun! With the last update somebody did something and now runs like a dream. It is now my go to sim race game.

The FFB isn't amazing, but it has been getting progressively better with updates. It is now good enough imo. To me, AMS2 is the GT7 of PC. Not in terms of content or career modes, but in terms of the balance of sim vs arcade vs simcade. AMS2 is my benchmark for PC sims now. I rank it below iRacing and ACC and so far also ACE, but AMS2 has a bunch of historic tracks and cars which you can't find elsewhere apart from with AC mods. When I feel like taking a the BMW M1 Procar on a run around Bathurst circa 1988, the FFB isn't the priority. I can't do that anywhere else as easily as in AMS2. Coupled with a nice mix of F1 cars through the ages, which are easy to get accurate liveries for, this game scratches an itch that others can't, it's just that the games ceiling is about an 7/10 imo. In terms of the more modern GT3 cars and GTP etc, there are better games for simulating them.

Well optimized for VR Play. HOWEVER I would really love the option to add a menu select button to the VR keybinds. having to hover over one selection for a few seconds doesnt sound horrible, but lends itself to being rather tedious. all in all the gameplay is great and works well with my sim setup. 10/10

Best depth of any sim racing title out there. The historic cars and tracks are amazing. Add in the new trophy trucks and Endurance racing vehicles, this title is a must have. Note to Devs ** Now that we have the Trophy Trucks, lets get the BAJA 1000 on here for off-road endurance!

One of the best racing games ever made. Drive with steam deck controller, very nice to say that it’s possible to get some laps around even though it’s a sim through and through. The madness engine is comparable to RAGE engine for racing games. It’s not too demanding. I hate the unreal engine so I will support and review any game that uses an engine that isn’t so stupidly demanding. Play this game if you like racing, the tracks in the base game are good but being able to get DLC and race Sebring, Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, Spa and the Green Hell is top Tier.

Out of the 11 racing sims I have, This is the one i like the most. Seems to be a good mix of fun and simulation, lots of cars and tracks in the base game, FFB seems more natural than others to me, I like it. Its on sale now so you can not go wrong...

The driving is amazing, the championship mode is great with pretty good AI, the details, sounds, and depth of car selection and track is just amazing. Well worth getting all the DLC. Online, try out LFM, great fun! Highly recommend, and plays well on wheel, gamepad, or Steamdeck.

9 out of 10 I was worried about the experience I would have with a controller. While it may not be a sim in its purest form, it's much closer to a full on simulator than an arcade game. It has a unique feel on controller that allows for quick recoveries from rear snap. I also find this one of the few titles that allows me to drive without the suggested line. Tire rubber is placed where it really would be on the track allowing you to really learn the braking points if you pay attention. Practice does really make for perfection in this game. The game also has a pretty good single player experience and the ai drivers are some of the best and most realistic I've ever encountered on a driving game. If you enjoy your time with the base game, expect to probably start buying some of their excellent dlc packs. They do go on sale often. I can't speak much about the multiplayer experience.

Just picked it up in the sale and it's a really good game. I like the physics and the handling - I just wanted a game that had some depth to it and was pretty easy to play on controller. I think I've found it!
