It's a very short game but It's seriously well done and seriously worth the five bucks just out of support. This will be a very very good time to any body that does play this game, the thrill, the scenes, the sounds, the dialogue ... I truly think this is a special experience and worth the time and money. Big thumbs up!

One-hour max experience, but really worth it. A really cool game, eerie and disorienting atmosphere, but no 'jumpscares'. I was especially impressed by the voice acting, which is very rare for a stickler like me. I enjoyed it, though the ending was a bit anticlimactic...The rest of the game was a really interesting concept with great game and sound design. Recommend.

A fun little game with interesting visuals and story, as well as great sound design, with great voice acting as well. Even though a short experience, it was a fun one that got me way more stressed than I thought I would be. Totally worth playing.

My total completion time was 26 minutes. It's a short game and the asking price of $5.00 is asking much for the amount of time but they delivered on my short stay with a good story, environment and voice over. SMU Guildhall is one of the best graduate schools for game design and they showed what they could deliver on in a short, concise game. Once the intro is out of the way they provide an "increasingly chaotic and psychologically unnerving environment" as they state. There will be moments to give you some jolts but no creatures, gore, etc. You will use your architect skills to solve some very light puzzles but I wish they were more challenging. The only downside I saw from the game was the actual size of the house. When you first start out and explore the design and size of the home (before things change) this would have to be made for two very seriously vain people because it is ridiculously HUGE. Other than that I enjoyed my brief stay and was happy with an ending that fit the narrative. I hope we can see something much larger in length from SMU Guildhall in the future!

Rhome is a very well made game. It builds suspense both through the music and reoccurring themes, and is perfect for getting invested in the story. I would recommend to people who love mystery and suspense.

Short and predictable, but not necessarily bad in that sense. This game presents a familiar concept with neat visuals and a terrific voice actor for our lead, and it gets straight to the point of the story it wants to tell, no bogging things down with padding or unnecessary jump scares. It would've been nice to have more puzzles, I found their setup interesting but fairly easy. Got some really cool NaissanceE vibes towards the end, so if you like that kind of surreal imagery, you'll enjoy this too. I think it'll be great to see more from these developers in the future!

I love First Person Exploration games, I will play as many as I can get my hands on.
I also like Brutalism apparently, Control was where I first learnt the term.
So this seems like a good match for me.
I did enjoy this title, the story is intriguing the graphical quality of the house is great. The sound is awesome.
But it is rather short. So short that some people may have trouble justifying the cost. But seeing as Coffee is getting more and more expensive these days. This is easily more worthwhile to me then a confusingly named Coffee from a retail chain. Skip a Coffee and try this instead.
Only negatives, the puzzles felt shoehorned in and confusing.
Overall this is worth it. Don't expect a long game but do expect an experience.
As this was made by an educational establishment this also represents new game creators entering into the world of Games and if this is a taste of what the team behind this title are capable of then I will eagerly see where the team goes next after graduating/finishing this program.

It's a scary walking simulator type of game with light puzzles. And it's amazingly well done. The game has highly detailed and beautiful visuals, the sound effects and voice acting is on point, and the surroundings gets more bizarre as the story progresses. Gave me chills.

It felt like an interactive version of House of Leaves, and I loved every troubling second of it. Short, yes. But beyond worth it. Can't wait to see what else comes out of SMU Guildhall in the future!

Gave me chills the whole time! The music set each mood really well, and the voice actress of Hailey did a fantastic job communicating her feelings of fear! All of the game's props and just general layout is seriously detailed, and it was a blast to see what was around each part of the house! A great psychological horror experience that shows how much the people behind it worked to make this! Horror doesn't always have to be about monsters and stuff; sometimes what is truly horrifying is our own minds.
