Howlongtobeat says it takes 1.5 hours to complete the main story, but it should be a crime to spend so little time in this delightful world. Take the time for extras, and enjoy yourself as the world reveals itself around you! I'll definitely be returning to this game in the future.

What a delightful game. I can see why people like it so much. The art style is adorable and the game mechanics feel intuitive. Controlling the character as they fly is satisfying and visually pleasing. My only gripe is that there should be an option for a map. The lack of one means that you get lost often, but this is a minor issue because it isn't impossible to find your way around, just a little annoying. Overall, it's a cozy game with fun characters and enjoyable gameplay. I think it definitely could have been longer, because it is quite short. But I guess that's why it's called a Short Hike.

This is a very short, but also very wholesome and cozy adventure game about a bird on a hike. Its biggest strengths are chill vibes and a small, but open world that you can freely explore through gliding. Your only true quest is to reach the summit and you can do that at your own pace. The dynamic soundtrack always fits the current situation, whether you’re relaxing and doing the side-content or on your way to reach the peak. The game is also presented with a nice crunchy pixelated aesthetic. There is some pretty funny dialogue as well. Overall, this game is a perfect palette cleanser you can knock out in one sitting.

Pixel games have always had a G spot in my heart. The game is relaxing and visually pleasing. A calm game you can play on a calm Summer night. Didn't really expect that ending, heartwarming. Overall a nice game which reflects today's society's brainrot and our only medicine for it—nature.

There are a lot of games made. This is art. Amazingly wholesome game. Beautiful music. Beautiful art. In its core its a really simple game. Yet I cried at the end. Loved it a lot <3

Just amazing short cozy game. It was perfect for my overworked and depressed ass to settle in for a couple of evenings. Stylized minimalistic visuals are cozy and esthetically pleasing. Music is top notch and quite relaxing. I love gliding mechanics in games, and this one handled it perfectly. Overall it's a nice and concise experience. 100% would play more games from this dev.

i love this game and the overall storyline and game mechanics are perfect but the little moments with the NPCs are what make this game so lovely to me <3 highly recommend!
