Please believe the bad reviews, they are telling the truth. 1. The game settings are very bad, and some settings do not respond at all; 2. Very laggy, a bit like a Bitcoin mining machine! 3. The blow feels very hard, like licking a rock instead of a lollipop!

This game is broken and unplayable. Health be like it refilling after rounds, movements just stop being sync. The A.I will owned you like a 1 button spam combo, on wait it's in the game. Janky mess with this game, please don't buy unless you're looking for a bad time and then again don't unless it's on sale. If so still don't this is Shaq Fu bad

This is a great fighting game, not too many moves but you can make some cool combos with them. I like the movement but I wish the walking speed was a bit faster so you wouldn't have to rely on just dashing to move around. This game has some hidden tech to it for sure. I noticed that you can actually cancel some moves with a grab input, completely removing the end lag. That's a big deal in this game, or any fighting game for that matter. This makes combos that were never possible now an option, while also making this game a bit more competitive. Though it makes me look at the roster completely different now. Some characters become actually insane like Ba'al for instance. Her dashing punch attacks throw a multi hitting flame down. It's a strong move but has a very long end lag. When you grab cancel her dashing punch attacks she can get combos off of the move. You can actually combo it into itself and carry an opponent across the screen. The way the walls push you help against infinite's, but I think with this tech characters can really show what they can do. I don't think this should be tweaked or removed in any way I feel it adds more depth to the game over all. I love how combos feel to perform in this game as well. I have only played so much and have really only tried Centella, Ba'al, and Fatima. I have noticed a few issues also. Ba'al's dive kick seems to hold by itself sometime when I input it. This only happens during a combo though. Also in really rare instances if Ba'al gets the opponent to bounce high enough and combo it with super it will knock the out of the 2nd dimension and they fall into oblivion until the round timer is up. I think this game is great the way it is though, it doesn't need to be perfect. The characters are cool, the combos feel good to do, there is a good amount of combo expression with and without the grab tech, not to mention some of the most creative stages I have seen in a fighting game. Each stage has its own theme that is pretty different from one another making every stage feel alive and significant. Also colors for fuck sake, this game deserves more love. I love the cell shaded Tzompantli style. It has everything it needs for me to keep playing. I would only hope for it to have online play some day.

There is a character in this game that just blows their head off(with a shotgun) as an attack. It's pretty janky and needs polish but it has a lot of characters at least. Some are incredibly broken and have a shit ton of infinities. It's fun as long as you don't take it seriously. The kiosk section is pretty good. Language should be on the title screen and not just options. Just a suggestion to the dev and a test to see if they read reviews.

Currently, the game is broken and should be considered an alpha. Depending on what controllers you use, you will not be able to edit the controls or even go through the menus. Trying to exit menus will bug out. A lot of the characters, their ("supers") do not work. Usually only one or two per character work. Any others do not work. From my experience, seems to be any super requiring two kicks being pushed simultaneously. The odd zoom with no effects such as ("darkening") or any kind of splash particle seems really odd. Intro animations will make some characters appear as though they are talking yet there is no sound of their dialogue. The combat isn't bad, just seems like this game is an alpha, not even a early beta. If they actually polish the game and fix the control issues including supers that don't work, effects, and the like. This could be easily a decent fighting game. The roster is neat. Some would complain about the cell shading choice, to me it makes sense with the wide arrange of characters with different art styles. Rather than adding more characters currently, the bugs and gameplay mechanics need to be tweaked greatly. The gameplay is broken right now for... well.. All characters. If you read this whole review, I thank you. I am leaving it as, get it now if you want to support the developer to what might become a good game or wait and see. It is just too broken to recommend it. Why I won't recommend it. 1. Menus/options are bugged. 2. All characters seem unfinished with moves that don't work. 3. The gameplay as it stands is very unfinished and needs a LOT of work. 4. Currently only supports one language. That isn't a deal breaker for me, but for some it is. 5. It needs a splash of paint. More effects. It is so goofy with the zooms. Why I would recommend it. 1. Developer is still active. Seemingly trying to keep adding more content. 2. Large cast of characters. Some are comical while others are serious. It just seems to work. 3. There is something here. Even if the game is broken currently, with a lot of work it could be a good game. 4. It has a very unique charm and is rather original ("except with the combat itself") 5. As with Fight of Gods, I am sure over time this too will become one of those obscure gems. Final verdict. 3 out of 10. 3/10. With a fighting game, the combat is very important. This misses the mark on almost everything involving a solid fighter. It needs a lot of work. Some good love and care. The most important factor of it is just currently too broken.
