I really enjoyed this game. You wake up, you get a quick text story and then you go around playing a classic FPS in a rather interesting environment. The use of spaces for weird maps and puzzle is a nice touch and combined with the droning, relaxed music and straight forward nature of the game level, which is a dungeon by dungeon key getter lay out, it's easy to relax and enjoy. I'd say this game is very casual and intends to be, but while casual is used more as a term for going easy or curating the experience to never be annoying or challenging, I use it in this sense that's its small, self contained and forgiving but still engaging for how long it lasts. You're not meant to sweat your socks off playing this and it's not throwing new or radical mechanics at you. It's pure, unashamed, casual, fps adventure game. This game is the ideal 5 buck game. It won't last long in terms of hours but there is very little rails or interruption to you playing. I enjoyed the story and the over all gameplay was good enough for the vibe I want. I miss just adventure or survival fps's within its own single player story and paradox vector was a nice fix. It also was visually and sound wise striking . The story is pleasantly unserious but lovecraftian and scifi pulpy too, even if its only in text an small as the game itself. The ending I got made me actually laugh. It was perfect. My critique of this game would be: the jumping is a bit whack. There is a delay in the jumping itself, which is fine, but the game has this auto-shunt feature where if you hit the corner of a block while in momentum ,you will end up on top of it. THis is actually ok in theory, as it makes the more annoying part of platforming in fps less intense and allows it to remain, granting some variety in the game play. But it's a bit TOO generous, as many times small jumps are made obsolete by me just running forward and evoking this feature. A small tweak of this would be a great quality of life change. The enemy are fine but I don't feel they exploit the art style nearly enough. They're pretty simplistic in many ways and there aren't many enemies in this game at all although I will admit the tentacles and atmosphere did make me get some minor startled moments as the tentacle prodded on screen. As the art style allows for mere out lines of enemies though, I think they missed the chance to get well...lovecraftian with it. Still. They function and they're not ugly. The spider mechs look cool. The weapons are straight forward. You got your machine gun, your rocket launcher, bombs and laser gun. Now. I love a good retro laser gun, so I was rather chuffed getting it. But, while I don't think that having more conventional, standard guns are a problem, some more weird ones would of fit the story and vibe a bit. If you can get this game for 5 bucks or under. Get it. The way the game uses space is actually really fun sometimes and itt's just pleasant to go through. This is a great, immersive little thing to kill a few hours with. It's a humble game. It's just trying to be fun aand have some fun moments with it style and weird hallways and teleportation hijinks, and it does that well.

This game is very short and very easy. Ten levels with minimal backtracking and the challenge is non existent. I think I beat in under 2 hours. I'd recommend maybe if its only 2 - 3 dollars and if you want to play a game while watching tv at the same like how I did. Otherwise it really has not much to offer outside of having a nice vector outlook. The game has very little to offer outside of ten mindless levels that offer very little difficulty.
