the game some decent potential, as of right now, i'm not sure i can fully recommend, its fairly easy to cheese the AI by putting a table between you and them, so easy in fact, that its really the only viable way to play, and honestly pinging bolt/arrow shafts off an immoving AI mob just doesnt seem that fun. like i said, its got potential, so keep up with updates, the AI (and melee system) may get improved

The game is nice. but they never made any multiplayer as they have said.
A good concept. I juste unlock the second portal and got kill by monster after. The art is nice it look like Barony. At start you will die more often cause you dont have good skill with weapon but later on first stage wil be easy.

-You get level by using the same type of weapont so it get easier to progrest trough the game
-Can save stuff for another run by throwing them back in the portal a nice feature i think.
For exemple you can finds little rock of colore to improve your characther or your stuff when you use them in the tower. Like impove life permanent.
-I like to throw chair in the face of monster or a sword or any things on my way and see them die

Loving this game, great fun, devilishly challenging.

- When they eventually appear, the golems seem invulnerable. Not so, some are weak to magic, or fire, ice, etc.
Try different weapons and read their type of damage to know which element is effective.
- Being a slow 69 y.o. gamer, I would'nt get far before being wasted, even at easiest difficulty.
So I play all games with my own C.E. tables :
Health remaining is 4 Bytes Exact, initial Value 100. Get hurt, find Decreased, etc.
Once found the address you can freeze it.
Seems to end always in 0.
Higher values than 100 are reset to 100.
Find again at the start of a new floor, or after dying or quitting the game.
BUT, of course there is a convenient workaround :
Health remaining address in hex: rise 11 times the "tens" (2nd to last) hex "digit" (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,a,b,c,d,e,f), and last, replace the last digit with 4 instead of 0.
This new address is the Max Health value.
Replace Value 100 with 998500 decimal (for easy finding later if needed) -or higher-, replace remaining health also with 998500, and this health value remains through levels, loads, deaths, quitting the game, etc.
I tried so much, but couldn't find the addresses for weapon durability, or level of skill for type of weapon, or attributes like intelligence or strength. Oh well.
Anyway, really love the graphics, the action, everything, a fine time with Dunrog !

Ultimate geek experience, only for fans of dungeon explorations. If you like this type of games, you will like Dunrog - my girlfriend will hate me if i'll waste my weekend on this :D
Had little issues with mechanics, maybe some patches will come.

I love roguelikes, but this one is a huge miss.
Power doesn't creep as much as it explodes. The damage difference between levels is huge. Without defensive skills to offset that damage, or a *practical* way to get permanent health/speed/defense increases, you'll hit very significant walls.
Practically speaking, the anvil is nigh useless. It's only available in the base, and given the decay rates for weapons and armor, it's not worth investing the significant time needed to pass a run to haul a limited amount of gems back to modify equipment that will be replaced in 1-2 levels anyway due to power creep. Max HP gems don't give a reasonable amount of HP per gem to warrant holding on to them, and since you lose everything if you die, unless you can clear it in one shot, there's no sense in taking any.
Itemization is all about replacing everything every level. This frequency of inventory dumping doesn't stand up well for a game that needs some serious time investment to get anywhere.
I am holding out hope that some major issues get addressed, and the entire game gets a hit from the balance hammer, otherwise I just don't see this as one I can recommend.
