Well I have to say I enjoy this game when I normally do not enjoy space shooter games. The idea of going first person in the middle of the game makes for a challenge. The background for the game I like as Im a fan of space backgrounds. A+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKKLPAcDlFc

Potentially a very interesting game, not too ridiculously control heavy, with nice graphics and music. But I am having issues with frame rates. No matter what resolution I choose, my frame rates are around about 2 or 3 frames a second. I have a reasonable spec laptop, intel i7 and 8GB RAM. If the frame rate issue could be improved to something playable, say even 20fps or such, it would be slick. Thanks Dev.

It is a beautiful game, but it has a flaw in the commands, they have a lot of potential.

UPDATE: After update I can recommend the game while on sale.
长天 Long Sky is a repetitive score-attack shoot 'em up with one gimmick.
A small game, Long Sky is like the game from Unity tutorials (Space Shooter). It's not the exact same game (it is *not* an asset flip) but it is almost as simple. In Long Sky you, the space ship, shoot asteroids that come straight at you and the occasional alien ships that always do that flanking flip near the bottom of the screen. Try to survive as long as you can and get a highscore. As a gimmick, the view switches from top-down to 1st person and back after a certain time. You can also switch on a free mode where you can choose the view yourself at a cost of getting less score. I'd give it a neutral score, but Steam requires a verdict. There is one reason (there used to be three) I wouldn't recommend it but on a deep sale.
1. It is too basic
Beside the gimmick, the game offers no variety. There are only two kinds of enemies with uninteresting AI. It is plainly repetitive. In 1st person view the enemies spawn too close to the ship for you to react in a meaningful way. Spamming the gun is the best course of action while hoping to hit an enemy right after it spawns. There's three ships to choose from, after unlocking them. The bonus ships are the speedy one and the shielded one that can take one additional hit before dying. The visual shield effect looks neat. Additionally, you can choose a badge that adds a cool visual effect.
2. [strike]It is not fully translated to English[/strike] Fixed!

3. [strike]There are some bugs[/strike] Fixed!
Leaderboards are now functional, and all achievements unlock properly.
Quick fixes, responsive dev
A developer clearly cares about their game and was extremely quick to make fixes, after my brief complaints in this review. All bugs I encountered have been fixed.
Conclusions
I had unlocked everything in 15 minutes. Afterwards there's nothing else to do besides chasing highscores (which is the point), ad nauseam. I understand this is done by one person and that's commendable. Game programming is hard work. The game technically works almost perfectly, has all the necessary menus and some nice concepts. Long Sky is a miss but the dev is devoted and the game is now mostly bug-free. Therefore, I've changed my recommendation to positive but would still recommend sale price for future customers. And for the developer: Please keep practising!
