Finally was able to beat this game! Gosh it was Super long! BUT this game is so much fun! The story line is intriguing, the characters are interesting and have a story arc. It's a very fun game with so many digimon to use and see! The battling system is pretty fun. I recommend this game for anyone who loves a long game with digimon OR even a Pokemon fan looking for a Steam game that is relatively alike to what Pokemon is. Love this game! Almost made me tear up at the end of it! 10/10

As a huge fan of Digimon since I was a child and having played all the other Digimon Story games I was excited to see the collection come to Steam. I have been super excited to stream this for my friends when I can. It's a pretty simple game to get into. Standard three team battles against up to three other opponents. There are plenty of Digimon that you can collect (340ish) and a chunk that weren't expected. There are a few little problems. Like you will notice that there are grammatical mistakes. I would make sure that your set up can run the game after all my laptop can run and when I stream it can cause the Main Character to run in 1/4 speed across the map. But besides those things its a pretty solid game.

In my opinion one of the best Digimon games to get into for people new to the series. Fun characters, interesting story, and tons of cool monsters. Love it very much

Really fun digimon game buuuuuut...
there is SO MUCH empty dialog. I think most of the long term fans of digimon are used to the games mostly being visual novels over monster battlers, but I'm not really a hyper-anime fan and find myself turning my brain off while they yap endlessly about unimportant things. I think there's periods where you go almost an hour without any form of combat or exploration, constatly re-treading the few areas you've been to.
I LOVE digimon and wish i could spend more time fighting and leveling them. It's a fun game but I struggle to complete it when boobie lady#5 wants to talk about the "passion of youth" for the 19th time
Here's hoping the new Story game does a little better in the writing

I think this is a really good Digimon game if you like collecting all the variations and seeing evolutions. The story honestly surprised me in some places completely catching me off guard. But honestly the pacing can be very painful sometimes with un-skippable cut scenes throughout the game. It's just a chill game with a decent story to burn free time.

The story isn't the best, and i seem to recall there being a scene that was really out of place. but overall it was still really enjoyable.

I was having a great time with the game until the crashes started 40 hours in. It was annoying but manageable until I got stuck in a room to where whenever i exit or battle I crash

Absolutely play these games it is a super fun time and they have great stories and funny side plots. HOWEVER do not under any circumstance try to 100% the games like I did. There are buggy achievements missable achievements and 1 of the single grindyest achievements I have seen in a long time. 9/10 would play again with mods.

Two fun games, one the story guides the characters, the other the characters guide the story. The Digimon game to recommend to both fans and anyone that you want to introduce to the franchise. Pros are lots of Digimon to evolve into, visuals look decent for games that I'm pretty sure are ports of PS Vita games, and voice actors put effort into their lines. Cons are no english dub option, no dialogue skip or fast forward and some tedious side quests that seem to exist to artificially increase play time. The grind for 100% achievements also almost left me almost annoyed at the game, since some like Max Hacker Rank in Hacker's Memory are unnecessarily time consuming to complete, but as that was something I chose to tackle I brought that on myself. If the next Story game Time Stranger only improves on what we have here it will probably replace Cyber Sleuth as the Digimon game to get newcomers interested.
