A fun little twin-stick shooter with simple base building, inventory and character upgrades
This is a fun short game (I finished it in 3 hours) made by a single dev. It's cheap so I think the value is alright. The character gains experience points for killing enemies and achieving certain goals. Upon level up you receive skill points for upgrading one of the many skills. There are different real-world weapons that you must find or buy, armor, equipment (gas mask, lighter, night vision goggles, crowbar...). There is also a simple base building/crafting system. As for cons - you can't rebind keys and death is meaningless - there is no punishment for in-game death whatsoever, you respawn back at your base with everything you looted in your inventory, healed and fully fed. Also it seems that the author meant to make the game bigger. The tutorial mentions various active abilities and there are even two active slots, but throughout the whole game I only found one ability. The other slot stayed empty until the end. Overall this is a small game with good ideas worth its price. I would like to see a bigger game, with more choices, more maps, and a stricter resource management.
