Finally - a hint into what the 'end-game' is for the Phantom Trigger series & a lot of character background for a lot of the 'older' members of the timeline - that is more than welcomed. OST & visuals to be as expected. Leads quite nicely into Vol.7 which has just been released & supposedly a lot longer than the other Volumes in the series (such as this one at just over 3hrs in length). Would recommend purely on the basis that I've wanted to know Haruto's backstory since the beginning -
and how closely it links into Yuuji's story from the original trilogy.
imagine if you were doing your homework and it became Labyrinth of Grisaia. your friend asks to copy your homework, and you tell them to make it different; this is what the copy became.
this is not a joke.

This volume turned me into a girl.
I'm looking forwarded to self inserting as cute hot blooded assassins when bodies inevitably start hitting the floor next volume.
10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to leave behind the male lifestyle and embrace their inner sense of femininity.

We got a mad and rich (and social akward)doctor/ scientist; an tsukkomi assassin; a rich shut-in sniper; a weird, dumb but strong af with ball of steel woman; another tsukkomi but its the main protag mom/dad (not really); a Super Russian Ninja
and our protag, who is an 'asshole' (He described it himself) (A good asshole, actually)
Together(except some), they bring some booze and shit to visit an old friends, violence included.

those assholery and random wisdom our beloved MC keep spouting kinda tell about his upbringing and where he got it from.
i've been expecting his parents revelation since vol 1, and i comes out as i expect it will.
also we finally got real main villain and true objective of our protagonist in this volume. guess there'll be lots more volume to wait.
the milking is never over yay!
considering the previous volume, i can say things are getting lot more interesting. eventhough the flashback of the phantom trigger is such a letdown.
it's getting better, but still bit far from the original trilogy. hope it'll get better and better in the next volume, can't wait for it!
cheers

cant wait for the volume 7, basically this volume explains the life of the MC as an Assassin together with his poster parents. The next volume will surely leads to the main story, i guess this VN will have 2-3 more volumes to finished,
GOOD WORK merchandise !

Volume 6 clocked in at about 3.5 hours. The early chapters are lengthy giving the illusion it's going to be long but it's in line with the rest of the series.
Here we learn about Haruto and his master Aoi. The only real complaint I have is I found it extremely predictable for the most part. Some of which was avoidable. But that didn't stop it from being entertaining and my second favorite volume. Multiple references to the original trilogy here as well. But that is sort of lazy since they continue to reuse character types.
We finally get a glimpse of what the main story is going to be about.
Use Magpie to upscale the game and it looks incredible.

The relationship between characters changed from 5, Why is Haruto more immature on this one? and I am not talking about in his childhood. In the previous games Haruto mas mature and teased politely, but in this one he insults his previous partners. Was this done by a different writer?

This chapter is typical example of Frontwing's Grisaia series, meaning that is a very enjoyable experience with terrific voice acting and a great soundtrack as well. Honestly, if you're looking at reviews for chapter 6, you're probably already a fan. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
