good to play with friends, has some bugs like that does not let you open the settings in the main screen

took me 20 min to discover you had tools in your inventory, I could not cut trees nor get stne and basically do nothing then realise you could not save, because clicking on leave does not work too many bugs for 20 minutes!

This game is absolutely legendary, I downloaded it with low expectations and this blew me away! I could easily spend hours and hours on it having a blast, it's phenomenal how advanced a 2d game actually can be and StoneTide clearly demonstrates this. I recommend everybody to at least give StoneTide a try and you will be blown away.

Decent looking, good concept but lots of problems... Some of the preset controls don't work, game cursor too big and hard to adjust to(Basic cursor would be better), crafting bench does not seem to function and occasional loss of items due to drag and drop concepts(which sucks).

I won't pretend to know how hard it is to program what needs tweaking, but there are just a few things that would make it a pretty good game. I love the concept and still recommend supporting the game, but can't recommend actually playing it at the moment. I'll keep my eye on it, hoping it gets better soon.

The developer's claim that this game is out of early access and fully playable is incorrect. There are UI issues that make any form of control frustrating at best, and literally unplayable in windowed mode. Basic gameplay elements such as drinking water to keep you alive past the ten minute mark are presented in-game "lore friendly" ways with no actual help with control difficulty. There also doesn't seem to be any resource provided outside of the game that provides real help, and even random youtubers seem to hit the same wall at entry. Seafaring realtime RPGs are like, exactly my wheelhouse. I held on to this game for weeks and kept trying to get into it. And hey, maybe if you do manage to figure out what it wants you to do, there really is a fun game hidden in there. But this game having a "Mostly Positive" rating in its current state just feels dishonest.

imagine, if you will, you spent ten dollars on a map, which led to a oversized treasure chest filled with coins. and each singular coin represented an early access title infesting steam. now imagine each coin is crap, because early access is a curse, but every so often, while sifting though the fake coins, you come across a pristine, good one. one which is a keeper. one that, despite a few flaws or rough edges, is still worthy of your time. when you take that coin, and close the chest, you realize. this game is that coin. and the ten dollars you invested were worth it.

Been playing this game for a couple days now and I gotta say it's been a real joy. Despite the bugs, it seems very promising with lots to expand on. For a $10 early access title, I say its well worth it and I look forward to seeing what this game will have to offer in the future.

I understand early access does not mean you are getting a full fledged game but this game should not be early access in its current state. The gameplay has potential but the lack of direction given to the player and the various technical bugs that delete items in your inventory makes the game incredibly difficult to start (especially for new players that you want to impress). The hunger meter staying depleted after death is acceptable but there is little food so the player is dying from hunger almost a hundred percent of the time. I am going to refund the game in its current state but if there is improvement shown in a couple months I will pick up the game again.

Alright, I'll start by saying that although this game is definitely an early build it already lends itself very well to the concepts and ideas that the developer has put forward. That being said, I've filed a few bug issues already via the Discord server that they've introduced for feedback. Surprisingly the developer has offered almost immediate responses to even the silliest of questions I've had about the game, and feedback regarding bugs I've experienced. The developer themselves has even gone so far as to directly address questions and complications I had experienced learning how to play. In a market being flooded with Early Access shovel-ware, abandon-ware, and games that are barely past the point of concept this game stands out for having been released in a state where many mechanics that are rough but at least already in the game and functional with a little bit of fiddling. I'm quite confident that this game has a bright future ahead of it in which this develops into a shiny gem of an indie title. Only time will tell, but I remain firm that I believe the game has a bright future ahead of it especially with the personality and dedication of the developer.
