This HOG was actually quite fun; considering how simple it was.

Very basic gameplay, but the story was much more interesting than I expected. Not bad when on sale.

The reduced colour palette and low resolution hidden object scenes make this game a chore to play. I end up getting bored and clicking Hint just to get and game over as quickly as possible. The 2.5D hidden object scenes are an interesting metric, but can get tedious after a while. Especially when every beat of the game is story, HO, story, HO... What puzzles there are are trivial and also low resolution. Game play is very linear. There is no exploration required. Ultimately, there are better HO games available. Not even worth it at a discount.

A rare poor showing by an otherwise great publisher, Mind's Eye takes the typical Hidden Object game and turns it into crap. With an annoying side-scrolling addition to the game, objects are often blocked from view, and the second lighthouse level glitched and was impossible to exit from. Flushed from my library never again to see the light of day. Rating: 1/10

The older, dark, blurred graphics make it too hard to find many or most objects. I recommend increasing the contrast and lighting before playing. Many items were hard to click on. I had to mad-click about 50 times on the statue of justice and the bulls eye before they would respond. The mini games were clunky and difficult to maneuver.
I tried to take screen shots, but it didn't work.
A reporter and camera man start investigating a lead for a story and end up in a dream/mind invention of a mad scientist. People are suffering memory loss! You go from HOS to HOS which include interactive things to do in order to solve the mystery. Each scene is a sliding picture which gives you a larger area to look at. Inbetween each scene is dialogue in text form between the characters.

no... you can hardly see a lot of the objects. The only way to play the game would be to use hints a lot rather than just being able to work through it.

This game has "Mostly Negative" reviews... But only because it's older. >..<
The only bug I had with this game is that it crashed. Once. After which it was completely fine.
Everything else? Old school H.O.G... Except they actually tried to make it entertaining. OOH!
No. Really. First -> Story. It's a mystery! Game might be short, but they have some crazy ass level designs to go along with it! (Dolls...! BRR!) (I didn't say it was a great mystery... But it was still interesting to me).
You can move the screen right and left. NOT 360! You also need to do that... If you want to form an item. (So if it calls for an "angel" -> Scroll this way to attach "wings" to "lady statue".) I've NEVER seen any other H.O.G. do it!!! Kudos!
Okay I will give some people this: Some items are excruciatingly hard to see. But at least it wasn't BORING! I know of some older H.O.Gs... Where you are guaranteed a nap. A very... Very long one. :D
Yeah.
I am sorry you have bad reviews game... I do appreciate ya though. You tried and you bested some of the older, finer tuned games.
You will surely be remembered!
Thanks you! :) :> =)
