hello, first off this is really great i really recomend this for people who want to change their backgroundand still keep their regular background 2. after a while on one background the background changer thing dissapered i have no idea why so if anyone has had the same problem and has fixed it then please tell me how that would be very appereciated.(sorry for my spelling).

This software does not actually run on my Windows 10 machine, and I so wanted it to work. The downloaded themes do not display videos or background. Created themes don't work either, as no matter which widget I add it does not display. Definitely not ready for prime time IMO. As an indie developer, I know how much effort goes into making a product like this, and so in the hope that the developers will continue to fix the bugs and improve on the software I have decided to keep it. I just love messing with the look and feel of my desktop and this product has so much potential. If you are expecting a desktop manager that simply works, this won't be for you.

While I do love this product, I cannot yet recommend it. I am changing my review. Some of the people who made this, were working on Rainmeter. While there are bugs, this is still early access, and still being worked on. Once the kinks are all gone, I am sure this will be a fantastic product.

Really cool piece of software lots of features, the multi monitor support on the other hand needs some rework. The scaling and position of the themes are messed up to the point where its not even usable anymore please fix it.

This program seemed to have all the features I wanted. It looks very sharp, and generally works, but eventually crashes every time on one monitor or the other. It might work well on single display systems.

Absolutely beautiful. Clean, elegant, and eye pleasing. Thanks! I have been installing and uninstalling the most unappealing and underwhelming clock widgets for wayyy too long. I could not be happier.

Good day. I think the program is awesome. But what I am missing is: 1 - to be able to read out status values ​​of the graphics card (GPU) 2 - to read the temperature of the CPU and the graphics card. That would be perfect if this were possible

Without the ability to drag actual folders and files onto your desktop, I can't recommend this. Sure, you can go into the editor and add your own custom icons for each folder, but I don't feel like spending 2 minutes loading up the editor and adding another icon, then spending time lining it up with the other ones and making it look good, every time I want to drag a simple file onto my desktop. On top of that, the icons you can add don't have the same functionality as regular folders or icons. For example, as far as I can tell, you can't right click the recycling bin to empty it. You have to open it first, then empty it. Not a huge deal, but it's small things like this that I do on a daily basis. A shame too, I spent 5 hours making something I've come to like a lot, and it sucks I wont be using it much, if at all.

This program still has lots of bugs, im using it on a 3 monitor set up. The settings even when edited and save will not stay. like with the weather it will not sit to my current location. when you go to the theme settings you can not change it because its on my secondary monitor. Overall this program has great potential but definitely needs some refinement work.

This is a much needed solution to the boring Windows desktop GUI. Even with it being in Early Access the improvement is immediate right out of the gate. It's easy to customize and point the shortcuts towards specific applications, or built in locations chosen from a list. I'm really looking forward to how RainDesktop will improve in future updates! If there was one request I would make, is to have the ability to extend the desktop across multiple monitors (even if the additional monitors were strictly wallpaper).
