Mutropolis Reviews
MUTROPOLIS is a lovely sci-fi adventure set on the abandoned Planet Earth. Play as Henry Dijon (hero, nerd, detective) in search of a legendary lost city. Uncover weird ancient artifacts. And PLEASE don’t get obliterated by an ageless evil. You’ve been warned.
Irritating & Tedious !!!
The graphics are nice and the voice acting is not too bad.
BUT ...
The dialogue is sooooo verbose. Constant inane comments that come off as failed attempts at humour, they added nothing to the story.
I got fed up with the going back and forth for petty actions, it really dragged the story out.
Some of the actions just don't make sense so I had to look at a guide.
I normally like these types of point & click games but this one just did not appeal.

I enjoyed this game. Some of the puzzles took me a while to understand but they all made sense. There was a bit in the middle, around the village of the guardians, where walking backwards and forwards to find different things took ages - it would have been great to have a run option, or some kind of skip. But otherwise i found it well paced. And I liked the humour. Not much of it was laugh out loud, but how often do you get that in a game anyway?
Overall, I would recommend this game to fans of point and click, although at 10 hours long, I'd probably wait for a sale.
