Pecker is a chaotic, "why am I having so much fun?" alpha game where you play as a birb who smashes stuff, climbs, and collects coins and... hats? Yeah, you heard that right. The gameplay is as simple as it is hilarious—you’re just out here breaking things, collecting shiny stuff, and living your best birb life.
As expected with alphas, there are a few FPS hiccups here and there, but nothing that totally ruins the vibe. It’s early days, and with how much fun it already is, I’m excited to see how it evolves.
The game works pretty well on the Steam Deck with a few tweaks. Once you dial in the settings, it runs smoothly and lets you smash things wherever you go—because who doesn’t want to smash stuff as a birb on the go?
With vibrant visuals and satisfying destruction physics, this game has real potential. The reward system (collecting hats, because why not?) is quirky and keeps things fun.
If you like quirky, fast-paced games with a bit of absurdity thrown in, Pecker’s definitely worth checking out, even in its alpha stage.
