A very pretty jigsaw puzzle game. Multiple difficulty modes so you can choose the one you like. Has a bit of story. Comparable to the Glass Masquerade series. Edit: Completed once on hard difficulty, no particular hurry, 18.1 hours.

Nice, colourful stained glass style to the images, some of which are way more challenging than others (or perhaps there's a learning curve). Very enjoyable for jigsaw puzzle fans and great pattern recognition training. I seem to have discovered this late in the day but would appreciate more in this vein.

I don’t usually play jigsaw puzzle games, but Mosaic Chronicles caught my eye with its beautiful, stained-glass-inspired artwork. The pieces fit together into stunning images, making the game play as rewarding as it is relaxing. It’s also a bit cheeky, with moments of mild humor woven into the experience. While puzzle games aren’t typically my thing, I’ve found myself happily piecing this one together. It’s a lovely mix of art and light amusement—definitely worth a play.

It's a pretty jigsaw game with a gentle twist. Pretty chill. The music loops a bit too frequently sometimes, and the turn control (RMB) can be a bit sticky at the moment, but other than that this is attractive, relaxing and satisfying to play. Good work by the Devs, recommended.

Fun game. If you like Glass Masquerade you'll fit right in. Only downside is the music loops are short and doesnt fit the mood.

Overall I enjoyed the game, and I look forward to more puzzles being added. The puzzles are well made, beautiful and have a decent difficulty curve. Building the puzzles felt relaxing and tying it to the story made it even more enjoyable. I do however have one major issue with the game: snapping. The game snaps puzzle pieces into place once you placed them close to their correct location with the correct orientation. While snapping pieces is actually pretty nice, the "sensitivity", for a lack of a better term, is terrible. Pieces would snap into place from so far away that I often didn't even get a chance to be wrong about a piece's location, as the game would "correct" pieces even if they were pretty far off. It made me dread placing pieces unless I was 100% sure I had the exact location. This nearly ruined the experience for me, as it felt like the game wasn't letting me play the game myself.

A definite thumbs up. Nice music, gorgeous artwork and a decent set of stories to go with it all. Once you get used to how the pieces place it becomes easier. I am not a fan of rotating pieces but in this game I didn't mind it. There is a preview window for when you get stuck. Overall I would say it's been one of the most enjoyable mosaic games I have played to date besides Glass Masqurade. Worth full price.

I CAN'T GET OVER HOW GORGEOUS THIS GAME IS!!! The stained glass pieces take some getting use to if you're not familiar. The instrumental music mixed nature sounds is adjustable in settings but i adore it. For ex. In one puzzle there is rain dripping the pieces after they are placed with thunderstorms sounding off. I was searching for a game similar to Glass Masquerade and I found it. I don't get all the bad reviews. This game definitely got it's vibe going on. Highly Recommend :)

If you can imagine a sort of cross between Glass Masquerade and a VN you can start to see what Mosaic Chronicles is and isn't. There are jigsaws to solve to progress the story, you can rotate pieces when necessary, and there is pleasant background music, but there the resemblance ends, apart from being able to choose the difficulty to play at. I admit I started in the simplest possible to see how the game works. There is a quick intelligent tutorial to give you the basics and a hint system for if you get stuck. And you can position the pieces of the puzzles where you think they aught to go, so there is a handy tool to tidy up your work area if it gets messy. More importantly, the pieces snap into place if you get it right and cannot be moved. You can save at will. I have struck no bugs so far and am enjoying the game so if you like to exercise your brain, this is worth having a look at, and if you enjoyed Glass Masquerade, I am sure you will find this interesting as it takes the concept further by introducing a couple of tales to go with the puzzles. Its cheaper than a double feature at the movies too! Edit: I should say i have this running on 2 computers, so halve my playing time for a more accurate idea of the size of the game, plus i'm not the quickest at jigsaw puzzles. The stories are quirky too.

I was recommended this game as being similar to the Glass Masquerade series. I went into it expecting a jigsaw-puzzle game. Here's why I don't recommend it. 1. Some puzzle pieces overlap when placed. That means that you can't rely on matching edges to make pieces fit. 2. I find the background music grating; this is obviously a personal taste issue. 3. The anatomy on the drawings is distorted so that I can't guess where, say, a foot is if I know the position of the knee. 4. I don't find the completed puzzles at all attractive; again, a personal taste issue. 5. The snap boundary for placing puzzle pieces is way too large; I can put down a piece incorrectly from surprisingly far away and it will snap into place. The bottom line, though, is that I'm irritated while I play, rather than having fun. 1 and 5 are the absolute deal-breakers.
