Very good metroidvania with precision platformer mechanics. Great level design with lots of different challenges. Levels feel very polished and tested. Movement gets really good at mid game and you'll be able to move with sharp precision. There's a lot of ways to customise the game so you can make it very easy or brutally hard. The last part was tough, my hands hurt and now I'm scared of trying the masochist mode (1 heart and 1 checkpoint). Took me 6 hours to beat it the first time (with 2 hearts and 2 checkpoints) and I died A LOT of times. I'm not into precision platformers but decided to try the game for the exploration and abilities progression. I really enjoyed it and hope there's a sequel.

This was a good game. Completed the game in about 4hours and got 90% completion. It had and relaxing pace and great sense of discovery, great music too. SPOILERS BELOW The only issues i had was the end challenge some jumps had to be almost too perfect and the clones would some times cluster up that your next try was almost impossible. Maybe better with resetting everything like in Celeste when you die instead of having multiple clones in the way.. The other thing was the crystal mechanic, dont know if it was user error but it felt like it was hit or miss sometimes. Very little bugs, some clipping thru walls and getting stuck in the ground but this was easily fix with the reset area option. Hopefully there will be a sequel or that the developer makes a new platform/metroidvania :D

Quick Score: 3/5 Notes: -Banger Soundtrack -Interesting world -Decent visuals -Movement is unique, though a bit clunky at times. -Level design isn't the best or all that interesting, but it is decent enough -Metroidvania, but you are given a very rough map, which makes navigation and looking for collectibles a bit annoying -Difficulty is on the lower end

I have to review this because Steam stopped keeping track of playtime of games you don't own so I may run into this game in the future and forget I didn't like it.

both the platforming and exploration have their good and bad moments. there was a bit too much wasted time platforming to dead ends gated by an ability i didn't have. the game only really rewards you with abilities so you don't get anything but a kick in the teeth when you hit a gate like that. overall fun game though. good concept, mixed execution

Great movement-based exploration game with some really challenging platforming later on but many checkpoints keep it from getting too frustrating.

For a game that is not free, it is unacceptable to have zero help on a walkthrough. A proper map would've been nice. There is no way to track progress in exploration, so you are forced to make your own map if you want to find all endings, for instance. I got lost and stuck in a third area. Yes, I get lost a lot, but usually, in payed games, i don't get totally stuck with no option to resume progress. Controls are shit. Completely unpredictable behavior, you'll spend more time figuring them out then actually playing. Zero help on the internet whatsoever. Literally NOONE plays this, you're on your own, if you want to risk it. Srsly, there are some free games made by school students that show more quality than this. Cut scenes are fun, but you have to make your own map to find all of them. I can't be bothered.

Really awesome game! It's kinda like a mix of a metriodvania and a skill-based platformer (like Celeste of Super Meat Boy). If you are a fan of metriodvanias or platformers I 100% recommend! The controls feel super fluid and satisfying (the videos don't do it justice), and the world is super open and fun to explore.

A violation of pixel graphics, feels bad to play, lacks basic options. First time I ever refunded a game on Steam. Don't want this in my library, lol.

I will admit, I didn't play this game for long before deciding to refund it. However, if your movement at its most basic, fundamental level drives me up the wall, then piling more things on top of that, however much it may MASK that problem, still doesn't fix the fact that the main mechanic, boiled down to its base, drives me up the wall. Judging from the achievements of the game, it prides itself on the fact that you will die a lot. But this is no Dark Souls 1, my friends, and I suffered 50 deaths in 26 minutes, and not one of those deaths made me laugh and say to myself 'yeah, that was just me being stupid.' Instead, 90% of them came from overshooting my target and falling straight into instant death water. The ball you play as simply doesn't seem to be able to change directions midair half the time, or... something else I can't make out. Whatever the issue might be (assuming it isn't just me being dumb and bad with my hands), the game seems to have been built without a desire to really accommodate for it, leading me to ultimately feel the basic run and jump of the game is equally too slow and too slippery. That being said, I did still find appreciation in the fact that you can't even jump or even move to begin with. I am the type of person who really enjoys starting out with little to nothing at my disposal and clawing my way up. Even if my limited understanding of the story tells me that it makes literally no sense for the character to start the game in the way that they do, but, again, I didn't exactly get far.
