I cannot rate this negatively. The music is too good (mostly). But for a "Best Of"-style release, this is missing so many good and essential pieces. Meanwhile, some of the tracks they did put in are rather dubious picks at best that really have no business being in a "Best Of" release. Who decided the Blue Badger theme had to be in here? Are you serious? They did put a few nice remixes and covers in here, at least. Most are reused from previous releases, but the two vocal tracks are actually unique to this release, weirdly enough. Vocals are in Japanese, as you would expect from this franchise. One of Ace Attorney's main strengths has always been the soundtrack. It really draws you into the cases and puts you in the mood to get to the bottom of things. There are some good general-use background tracks in here. This release includes MP3 and FLAC formats. Interestingly, it also includes an AAC formatted version. All three formats are fully tagged with album art.
