This is one that offers a lot of old school rpg entertainment.
There is a good story, the action moves along swiftly, the characters are interesting, and the battles are well done. There is no wondering what to do next as the story moves you along in a straightforward manner that makes it hard to break away from because you want to see what's coming next.
An area where the game really shines is the art work of the main characters and the monsters encountered ---- especially the boss monsters which are huge screen filling enemies.
Music is very good and does not become overbearing.
There are tons of treasures to discover throughout the land, as well as in the optional dungeons.
Overall, I'm having a lot of fun with this one, and believe it would be an excellent addition to your library. Very much recommended, and it's on sale!
