Great game, and an amazing early access game. With it being in Alpha, its perfect for what it is.
At the time of writing this review, I only have a little over an hour in-game, but I can confidently say that if you love dungeon crawlers, this is the game for you. Very quick to get you into things, no tutorial, and minimal controls. Only taking about 15 seconds after launch (if you know the controls) to start engaging in gameplay.
Lots of weapons, relics, and enemies. For $8 (I bought it on sale at $6.80), you are getting exactly what you pay for.
If I HAD to make a complaint, it would be the lack of melee relics and melee weapons weapons. At least, by the time I was on floor 10, there wasn't much for the melee side of things; except movement speed for getting closer to your enemies quickly. When you run out of ammo, its a hassle to stay alive.
However, you will have fun regardless.
Please though, whatever you do, don't tweak a single thing about the movement system in this game. Swinging and strafing to get a quick movement boost makes clearing a floor quick and fun.
Seriously recommend this game, a 5/5 for me.

Second Review:
It's OK. The core game loop is here, but within 20 minutes the game felt samey. I felt that melee attacks were only useful for breaking open boxes (to conserve ranged ammo). There is no reason to use melee attacks against monsters so long as you have ammo.
Levels all feel the same. While textures do change, largely the map layouts and feel, while randomized, are samey. Enter room, clear room, open gate, avoid spikes.
I didn't *feel* more powerful with each relic I picked up or purchased. I'm sure I was racking up some bonuses, but it didn't feel like it. By the time I hit the first boss, I felt like I hadn't leveled appropriately (even though I had cleared all previous levels and purchased whatever was possible).
So should you buy it?
It depends. Want to support the developer and provide feedback? Then, yes.
Looking for a compelling game that stays fresh and has you aching to come back. Not yet, put this on your wishlist and keep checking on reviews and updates.

No way to invert mouse. Unplayable for me as I've played every FPS with inverted mouse.
UPDATE: can now invert mouse

A great little game, already extremely engaging and polished for what it is. Absolutely can't wait to see what it becomes as it's worked on more and more.

I see Potential in this game, it really reminds me of Binding of Isaac and that game went far. Hopfully this game gets popular. Im excited to make videos for this game and watch it grow and see new updates with new enemies and weapons. Maybe another map with a different boss at the end. And maybe more Characters or character customization. Something simple like changing the main character's Color. Just throwing ideas out there to help this game. the game could do with some music and graphics settings, maybe an option to go easy on the lighting, but this game is enjoyable even with low fps

This game was a rip-off of another WIP game, and The dev deleted this game from store.
Now it's obvious that this game is going to be yet anoter early-access-forever. I want my money back, but it's already too late.
It's actually my fault for not searching about the game further before buying, so I can't really complain about it...

Very fun game, especially for the price. Only complaint is the lack of any way to save and come back to your run in progress, only made it to loop 2 so far but by then I find myself wanting to leave it for a bit and come back later but can't as it stands right now(of my current 7 hours played I'd say 2-3 hours of that was walking away just keeping it running because I wanted to take a break and not lose my progress). Granted, it is v0.1 alpha release so it's still very early on. Well worth picking up if you enjoy roguelikes and want a different twist on the genre.
