This game needs work, the graphics suck at this point with no options to change them, some much jagged edges and with my powerful computer and 800 dollar headset cant even get rid of it, no alising at all so all you see everywhere is pixcled and bad resolution doesnt help, everything is blurry thats out to far, Catch and release is better, cam max all setting and get a clear picture with 90 frames a second but this game has lag when fish come out of the water and the graphics are worse than Catch and Release VR, Make a update and fix your games lag, no reason for so much frame drop on a game with crappy graphics, should run at over 90 frames at this point, My RTX 2080 TI hasnt had any other problems except your game, it is not my 4,000 dollars computer with all current gen tech in it.

This is clean debris, a 50 gram fish fights like a 500 kilo marli, ugly and bad controls

I'm not sure if I can really give it a real review with only 11 minutes of play time, however it barely felt functional and I only bought it because I thought it was Real VR fishing. Don't be stupid and make the same mistake I did.

Controls are a bit weird especially how you cast, it is more of an arcade type game with no physics to the line or reel. It is fun for about 5 mins then you realise every fish you catch is basically the same size. Went for a refund on this.

It used to be one of my favorite games but they did an "emergency" update to calm the negative reviews that ruined the game.
All of the fish are too small now. You'll be reeling for like 20 minutes with epic battle music and when the fish finally gets on the boat it looks like a goldfish. Which is totally unsatisfying.
But to be fair at 4 hours in I've only unlocked the first two areas so it may get better.
The game is addictive so I will still give it a fair review unlike almost all of the other negative reviews from people who barely played it.
This is basically a fishing RPG. The reeling gameplay is addictive. Multiple locations, and gear to purchase. You can upgrade your stats like health and defense. There are also ongoing competitions (not sure if they're online) where you have to meet certain criteria.
If you've played those addictive mobile fishing games, this is basically that but without the microtransactions. I've played a lot of those games and this one is not the best, but it's not bad considering it's the only one available on PC.

Fishing line has no physics. Scale is off (though that seems to be intentional), couldn't figure out how to cast the line properly, and there's a laser on your right hadn that can't be turned off and everytime it crosses path with an object in the world at any distance it makes this annoying dinging sound so the entire game is just DING DING DING DING.
Looks like it may have potential but canno recommend in it's current state. This is being sold as a full release, non EA game for $13. It's more like an early beta.
