The only nice thing I can say is that it LOOKS pretty good.
Kingdomfall wants to be Mordhau or Chivalry but manages to be worse than either of them.
I realize it is early access, and that it is developed by a small team, but I just do not see a way for this game to carve out a slice of the market when Mordhau and Chivalry exist.
The combat here feels clunky and slow, button presses don't always work. There is no tutorial. The maps that I played on were huge and empty. Weapons do not feel impactful and hitboxes are a nightmare. The whole thing needs a LOT of work to even be passable, let alone take a chunk out of the medieval multiplayer slasher market.
