Sniper Elite 5 truly is the most polished of the entire franchise - The uniqueness of each mission, the various play-styles available, and the additional challenges for mission objectives and for the weapons (the medals) ensure replayability on a mega scale. Not only is this game so smooth to play and incredibly immersive, it's beautiful; There is never a moment where I'm not blown away by the scenery of the maps and their details. Furthermore, multiplayer, co-op, and survival add an additional level of gameplay that continues to keep it all interesting even after nearly 200 hours. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

This game is very good, at first i had to play sniper elite 4 which i also owned to get better at it and i did. At first i was a newbie but i got really good at being a sharpshooter and killing soldiers silently. This game is very fun and entertaining, i recommend this to all steam players who like sharpshooter games. Or to any one else out there who likes sniper games. Credit To Rebellion For This Game! It didn't have mouse button support. I contacted support but they never got back to me. Refunded. Too bad because I loved Sniper Elite 4.

Super fun co-op sniping. Single player campaign isn't bad either.

Invasion was the only good mode in this game and the devs ruined it because half the playerbase absolutely sucks at the game. Invaders get punished because the average player in this game cant win a 1v1 with npc on very easy. Fuck rebellion

It's decent; but I didn't enjoy it as much as 3 and 4 in the Sniper Elite series. This has some great levels in it, but the others (especially 4 IMO) set the bar awfully high for interesting and replayable missions. Still good, but if you are new to Sniper Elite, I'd start with 3 and 4, then get this or maybe 2 next, when it's on sale obviously.

the core game play is great, I've been playing the series since SE1 back in 2005. That being said i would hold off on buying any DLC unless it's on sale the value for money just isn't there.

Fun and addictive. Really good level design and weapon customization system. Online multiplayer is dead which I expected. Was planning to get the newest game (Resistance) but when I saw that it’s about Nazis and Europe again and how it feels like a DLC for this one I decided to hold off.

Game plays like the others, But huge problem for me is Crossplay will not work. ] Game set to invite only/ Crossplay on (steam to xbox connection)/ In lobby (not in mission)/ Input code in every possible way. If somehow we are forgetting something I'd love to know because game seems very fun co-op'd

When it comes to Sniper Elite games this might be so far the best. Mechanics are same as in Africa, but France has massive open world maps, for better or for worse. When map design is good like in "spy academy" game works perfectly, gameplay is smooth and it does not feel boring - you will have blast playing. On the other hand when map is not one from your favorites - maybe because layout or enviroment then you can get overwhelmed by amount of backtracking and optional quests on maps, and everything can feel too "grind-y" and tedious. I have not played Resistance yet, but I feel like series is hitting its "milking point" and for possible 7th game there needs to be overhaul.
