This game is such a rare gem among its genre. So very unique!! I love all characters, even those 3 kids, they will have their redeem point latter in game. Arts is beautiful and outstanding, the story is thorough, detailed and the truth ending is satisfied, music is good too (I've played other visual novel games overused background music which is definitely annoying).
I know there are so many hints for character comeback, new monster (at least, there is going to be 3 chapters) but it is a shame that this beautiful game has to cancel at chapter 1. Even so, it worth my time, I enjoy it a lot and have fun playing it.
I definitely recommend this, even chapter one is way too good to ignore ~~

Short and sweet with a cool story. Very good music and a high quality game in general, albeit lacking the ability to skip text making it tedious to go through parts again to see different dialogue possibilities or endings. It's absolutely worth playing tho.

I want to be fair in my assessment of this game. I like a lot of it- the visual style, the characters, some of the ideas presented... but unfortunately, I cannot *recommend* it for anyone. There's little things like small dialogue bugs, which are to be expected in an indie visual novel, I won't hold that against the game. However, the awful thing is- if you *do* like it, and want more of the characters, and expansions on the obvious dangling plot threads, you aren't getting that. There were apparently plans for a sequel that had to be scrapped. Again, I'm not holding that against the devs, but I'm leaving this review to warn anyone who wants to play the game.
There are many unanswered questions left in the story- not "unanswered questions" in the sense of pedantic details or plot holes, either- they very clearly set up things that are supposed to be intriguing and that intrigue can never pay off. The true ending, especially, leaves things hanging. This absolutely reads as more of a prologue than a full game, unfortunately, with things getting brought up as something to pay attention to that will never actually get addressed. (The story is quite short- a lot of the playtime listed on my profile isn't actually "playing the game", it's skipping through text as fast as possible to either get a random achievement or get back to a decision point)
Also, depending on what sort of person you are, this may or may not be a dealbreaker, but: you cannot 100% this game without going through some process to download an older version of the game. The achievement broke in an update. I have not attempted to get it as of now, but if it shows me as having any further playtime after this review was posted, that is what I attempted to do.
I hope the devs went on to do things they enjoy. They obviously have talent, but as of right now with everything abandoned, I cannot in good conscience recommend it.
